you have to be kidding me? J . Abela, D. Folino and S.Berak cant get a game?? wouldve put L.Miza and Rocky Collins in there if wasnt injured! All under 21 !
Thomastown have the best midfield in Divvy 2 and have smashed every side in the middle of the park!

And everyone lets not talk about chances this early on ..lets leave it till later on when all sides have played each other!!

yeh remebered Berak after I'd done it. when you only see other sides play once or twice a year it's hard to get an accurate idea - especially if good players have an off day.

not sure that thommo's midfield smashed lower's when we played you!!!

Yeh Berak came 3rd in the league votes 2 seasons ago at 18 years old! missed majority of last season due to injury and literally had no pre season at all this season coming straight from cricket finals to rnd 1 footy and has in the last 2-3 games showed what hes about!

But J Abela and D Folino must be in contention playing good footy week in week out! Holmesy always plays a solid game!

Yes your correct about the Lower game sorry ! was a good wake up call and lets the boys know they have to play 4 commited quaters every week!

parkside to win a close one from stars, but then ..

morang to bounce back over resser

why isnt the wast vs thommo match on the radio? surelyca better one than bun vs norf, and at least a dvi.2 match would be broadcast.

just returned from a cracker of a game at morang between the lions and resservoir, this game had everything, yellow cards, red cards and even a head count at one stage morang dominated most of the game with their young players dominating the game, one young bloke kicking 10+.
final scores morang 173 def reservoir 111

Mernda vs epping

Fairytales do come true !
patty curran in his 300th kicks the winning goal in a thrilling two point win to mernda.

EPPING SHOWED ALOT OF CLASS BY STAYING ON THE GROUND WHILST PATTY WAS GIVEN A PRESENTATION AFTER THE GAME.
Fantastic display epping boys you did your club proud with that show of respect - my hat goes off to them
utter class boys your club distinguished themselves ..

and i barrack for mernda not epping

One of the best local footy games I've seen, Patty kicking the winning goal in the dying moments, and six others Fantastic.
He told me it was the best game he's ever played in, and he's played a few.
Phil Doeven showed just how good he is. Reesy & Shelton outstanding.

No longer can Epping call us their B side, There now known as Mernda B's

By the way Our Magoo's also had a great win the only team undefeted.

also guy booker had 57 possies today in a very one sided affair.great effort by the fossil.

congrats to heildelberg west for fielding 2 teams today as some players played in both games. good effort boys.

6-0. perfect start, on to next week, get a few back and hopefully continue the winning way.

friday night get down and see the only undeafeted teams in the 19's playing underlights. WHITTLESEA VS MERNDA. byo food though as roys usually eats all the pies!!!!

Well well well... After so many years of sledging, slandering and wondering Mernda have finally put Epping in their place. I must say it felt AWESOME. It was the best win I have ever played in. The passion from both teams and the massive crowd was unbelievable. PC kicking the winning goal was a fairytale finish. After taking a 2 goal lead into the last quarter and then Epping hitting the front by 2 goals I wasn't sure if we could fight back, but we did and Epping still kept coming.

On behalf of the group of ex-epping boys that left in the last 3 or 4 years I just have one thing to say.

WE'RE NOT REJECTS ANYMORE!

Also good work by the epping boys for those who stuck around after the game. Would have liked to catch up with a few old faces though.

Was a great w.e for Thomastown getting 3 convincing wins against Watsonia. It was a great day to be apart of the club on Simon "dancing homer" Holmes 300th game where he was one of the better players for Thomastown. Great win for the boys. Also congratulations to Jason Abela, Rocky Collins, David Folino and Anthony Califiore who have been selected to train with the div 2 representitive side. Well Done boys.

im fairly sure mernda under 19's have only won 1 game and whittlesea is hosting macleod under lights on friday night. should be a cracker of a game to.

also just like to hear from someone from watsonia? what happened? did use have a real bad day? or will watsy be middle of the pack again this season?

What an effort, four 17 year olds and four 18 year olds in the side the future looks rosy for South Morang ). A 17 year old kicked 11 goals ( Damian Di Lalla ) . Does anybody know if anybody has done that in the past DVFL days.
