Do whatever you want with it.
If all clubs had the same amount of money to play with i'm sure things would be a lot more even.

You just keep telling yourself that its not a big difference if it makes you feel better. Anyone who would agree with you is living in absolute dream land! How about you get your head out of your arse and step into reality for a moment or two...

He concedes here that sides are not even but could be, your having trouble understanding. I must have my head in my arse too because i think he is dead right... Read my lips:rolleyes: If sides had the same amount of money there would obviously be a difference in their quality, eg. H'West given The same budget as Bundoora would have to improve. Too simple

G'day GHOST: Good to catch up the other night and both of our sides are in for big games on the weekend. Both the Thomastown and Macleod games are worthy for match of the round status, though I think your game is slightly bigger stakes!! Good luck and hope to catch up on the 23rd as discussed.

BOMBERSFLYUP: You just can't seem to resist taking pot shots at blokes. How about you ease up and talk about some interesting stuff for a change

UNDERBELLY: Couldn't agree with you more about this week's game...one of the most anticipated games at our club this year. As far as the BYO policy, having served on committees in years gone by I would just like to say that it is very difficult to run a footy club without any issues such as others bringing their own grog. Sides succeed financially on the back of how well they do at Home games, in particular, with food and alcohol being an integral part of this. I am not going to start finger pointing, but every club needs to help each other out in this regard.

Very much looking forward to Macleod v Watsonia tomorrow.
I watched Watsonia's training last night and was very impressed
with drills being executed. Our boys will definately need to be on their
game tomorrow.

A big welcome to Kyle Ewart named in the team. It will certainly be
interesting watching the matchups in the forward line

I'd say that we're only 2 players away from putting our best team
on the paddock with Wendt & Lundberg a week or 2 from returning.

If the Watsonia crew can refrain from bringing their own alcohol stocks
to sell at the game, that would be most respectful. The beer police will
be on patrol.

In fairness to Watsonia, dont think you will have to worry about that tomorrow. I think it was done as a protest against us last match. Certainly wasnt the right way to go about things though, but enough has been said about that!

Few great games this week which will give good indication of where teams are at.

Watsonia didnt sell any grog at the Lower Plenty game. Many took their own, thats why it probably looked like they were selling it. But definately wasnt selling grog. Mind you, I am a Watsonia person and was buying grog off Lower Plenty bar throughout the day.

I see Coburg 2nds have a bye this week. Will this mean that N.Lynch will line up for Macleod again this week?

We couldn't fit him into the lineup unfortunately.

Tips for the weekend

Epping
Macleod
South Morang
Hurstbridge
Parkside
Lower Plenty
Whittlesea

Have heard from a very reliable source that Merndas captain, Marcus Knight, is considering retirement after a serious hamstring injury.

CLEOD 9: Yeah buddy, all set for that Monday and good luck to your boys for the weekend.
Here are my tips for the round:

EPPING BY 60 PTS
MACLEOD BY 25 PTS
MERNDA BY 5 PTS
HURSTBRIDGE BY 30 PTS
PARKSIDE BY 1 PT
LOWER PLENTY BY 30 PTS
THOMASTOWN BY 10 PTS

Good luck to all!!

I'll try

Epping - rolling along
Macleod - just
Mernda - too big, and at home.
Hursty - always tough at P'Hill though.
Parkside - maybe
Whitt - have bounced back nicely
Stars - at home in an upset for 5 in a row (maybe)

should be a cracker of a game up whittlesea way....the 2 yardsticks going hammer and tong:D:D
Looks the match of the season to date. Hope the weather does the right thing and both teams have their best sides available. Anything could happen in this one.

So how did Nostradamis 2008 know when Kyl ewart did not even know at that stage?????

young foley your source has been slapped at one to many pubs i watched training tuesday night and he was jumping out of his skin with no signs of hammy trouble, my source tells me his set his return for a big one against watsy better be on your toes young foley and leave your crouching tiger hidden dragon moves at home

Another rumour going around is our own Blind Cowboy has been booted out of the toe cutters for trying to beat up fellow members, only a matter of time before he turns on his own teammates

my thoughts on todays matches:
hursty to beat the hillmen
the pingers to trounce the hawks
the stars to cause another boilover and beat lower
the eagles to beat the bears only because it is at their home ground
the devlis to beat reserv
the lions to beat the demons, but only just
the kangas to stomp all over the saints

great win by the macleod boys today! dominated the game from the 1st bounce and the scoreboard reflected the work all 22 players put in!
on to next week another big game against lower! cant wait for it!
shawry on knee could be the match up of the year! 2 very powerful players going at it with both teams captains trying to gain respect and momentum in the 2nd half of the year for their respected teams!
