i watched aquilina play most games last season being a whit supporter,and didnt take long to become a fan of his attacking style of play & all the south morang recruits...i have heard good reports on his character from his past clubs(south morang & whit)...and i have had a chat with him after games here and there seems like a top kid from wat i can tell,...ive spoken to the south morang president and he was disapointed to see him go as well as all the boys that left.aquilina is only 22 and played close to 100 a grade cant see how he is always injured?and hardly missed a game last season apart from a controversial final...clearly u dont know to much gordyhowe
all the best to him...certanly one of the fastest in the competition these days a very good recruit

I think he kicked 4 or 5 against Mernda last year playing A grade Div 2 .
From what I saw last year most players were played off the bench, just like they do on the telly. (Super Coaches have a lot to answer for)

Aqua is going to be a handy pickup for us. Had great games against he last year and seems to be training well. Onball halfback type. Would have to be one of the quickest blokes gettin around

Matty is very quick and is a great pick up. good kid too.

He's now leaving to play with mates from his school days at Mernda.

I've seen him doing some running on his own time around the streets of Mill Park, so i'd imagine he'd be the fittest he's ever been. Big year ahead for him.



Very slack, the recent events probably didn't help get things sorted with all the chaos that was around. But yes, players should've been signed by now. In saying that I highly doubt anyone will leave.

Matty has played most of his footy in A grade , senior footy, not sure where you base zero A grade from? stick to facts????

more macleod rumors from the weekend heard lynch and melican where run over by a car out the front of rue bar resulted in them ending up in hospital, the last thing melican needs is more damage to his head, not sure what the outcome is now with them but can confirm puffer has asked the boys to stay away from rue bar now as theres been a fair share of trouble there.
aqua will be a great pick up for mernda his a good guy and can play the game, mernda will be a genuine force this yr and good luck to them, macleod mernda gf imo which will be interesting considering both teams have no idea how to win on the big day.

Witnessed a great day of footy at Wallan the other Sunday all for a good cause , money raised went to the bushfire appeal .

Lightning premier ship played between Wallan, Sunbury, Kinglake, Sth Morang and Whittleasea.

all teams did themselves proud showcasing some of thier recruits.

Sunbury took out the day against a competative Whittlesea

No-one that I can think of have left. As with the last few years a few more friends of players have come through. Matty Vasilevski is playing for us all year which will be a big help. A few of his mates from Coburg Tigers have been training aswell so all is looking well. We are going to struggle in the height department but have an abundance of very decent 5"10' on baller types.
