Thoughts on hey doc in the caufield guineas? Liked his last run big time

i think he's the best melbourne male. was comparable race to race with mr individual then put Kaching to the sword. the two kiwi's based in melbourne and him slot just in behind the 2 sydney horses but not as much as the current prices suggest IMO. reasonable value in Saracino and Hey Doc for mine.

Embarrassing for australian racing
well really its only a 1 horse race

He looked to handle 2400m pretty well in the Gordon Stakes last year when second to Highland Reel. The video for that is available on horseracingnation
Certainly a query at 2 miles i'd say, but i doubt 2400m will bring him undone, especially at Caulfield.
He doesn't appear to have wet track form, so that may become a problem...

True but that was pre Godolphin & they dont improve many.

The 3 horse race is disappointing in one sense, but it's going to be fascinating to see the tactics employed.

None of the field are noted front runners. Bart and Winx can race handy if need be. Winx may have to make the running because, if it's a farcical sit/sprint, Bart may have her measure. Not only that but a sit/sprint wouldn't be an ideal Cox Plate prep run. I'm actually looking forward to the race...

bart's led over the trip before and will do again. he's the one that want's it a sustained run from the 1000. won't matter though, with a lack of traffic cones the furthest Winx gets back is 2.5L and she has that up here sleeve regardless of how the race is run.

only way this goes south is barrier problems, her not coming up or some sort of brilliance from one of the jocks who somehow establishes a break.

Winx will be entering Cox Plate with the softest of preps

Just had a look at Ubet, have money back 2nd and 3rd on ALL Caulfield races Saturday including the Caulfield stakes. Black Heart Bart at $4.60 and money back if he doesn't win seems to good to be true. Checked terms and conditions and cannot find anything about number of runners in the race.
So $50 on BHB to collect $230 for free and if he doesn't win $50 back into the account for my quaddie for the day.
Seems to good to be true

Backed it @ 14s I have been on it most starts, I like it, what I don't like is young horses backing up a week later in such a big race, Sacred Elixar I am pretty keen on aswell.
