Great for the CP, to have the whole Winx v Hartnell. I was a little surprised tbh you would think with the 55kg Hartnell would have been pretty tough to beat in the CC.
Not sure how to approach the CC now, part of me wants to just to back Jemeka but there is no way I want the $3.50/$3.70 on offer.
As far as internationals, and depth how is this cup stacking up, say compared to the last few years?

best go at an antepost CP field
very similar to what BF says which is disappointing. Winx, LV, He's our Rokii and Vadamos the only ones with value but all are minimal.

strong B Grade euro g1 miler IMO. not at the top of the euro's but strong enough that he would be half a chance most years without our two very good horses. prix du moulin is a good race he won last start but again it's a mile. is also 5 and really hasn't clicked until this season when shortening his distance range.
as for the ollie call it seems sensible, LV can't beat winx so have a dip at the unknown.

This is a genuinely promising on pace Monsun horse still on the up.
Recent form is at a mile but 2000m winner as a young horse & his sectionals stand up.
admittedly its a tough year but they knew that & chose MV when could have stayed home for Arc day
or Breeders Cup.
Trained by a gun & now has Olly to guide him round the valley.

TAB have the promotion of any Group 1 race in October get cash back of up to $50 on a fixed odds win bet if your horse runs 2nd or 3rd. I rang them twice yesterday to find out if it still applies to the Group 1 Caulfield Stakes despite having only 3 runners, both times got a girl on the phone, both were not sure and went and asked about it and then said they have there legal team and markerter's looking over it ??? the 2nd girl said not to bet because TAB cannot make anything off it because no one can lose, I said I have already put $50 on BHB and then she said she is not sure if it will be paid out if he comes 2nd or 3rd. Neither could give a definitive answer.
TAB have now taken that promotion off the main promotions page and have got some fluff trifecta promotion in it's place but the promotion is still listed in the terms and conditions (spring racing promotion).
My guess is that they know they have to honour it but who knows what they will do.

It has really caught them off guard, but who would have thought there would be a 3 horse race in a group 1.
So do I invest $$$
I have put $50 on BHB, they seem to have made no amendment to the terms and conditions of that particular promotion and are now pushing the trifecta promotion instead of the Group 1 promotion (trying to limit the damage). I see no reason why I won't get money back but I'm sure they will try and wriggle out of it somehow.

Going to have $ 50 on BHB. Took a screenshot of the terms saying any race on guineas day is money back 2nd and 3rd. So no way they can wriggle out. Now just need a bit luck or a lot to beat the mare.

I'm 99% certain that the TAB is going to honour the 3 horse race. There was an e-mail circulating to that effect throughout the agencies. I'll check tomorrow as to the legalities about it.
I'll be putting $50 on BHB as well if its right

Have it on top but probably happy to risk it at the price. Might be just a "watch" race for me.
It's a very good horse and it went close to knocking Astern off. At its best it wins.
