Him or Danger is such a big call now

Only thing is I’ve seen him forward a bit but I think that’s just because the ball has been down there an awful lot and he’s followed it. Been in most of the centre bounces when he’s been on the ground.

I’m starting Danger no questions asked so if Dunkley starts for me it’ll need to be a restructure so that I can fit them both in. My pricey-ish D3 is starting to get very nervous right about now

If there was no Taranto or Rowell, I would genuinely pick all 4 of Macrae, Treloar, Bont and Dunks, just to cover my bases. Not possible though, so only Macrae can I not ignore... he's just so good to watch
Thing is you just know it’s going to be sulky Macrae on a wing at the mercy of Bevo sooner or later.

Does anybody know if Selby will be updating MM post pre-season games with new info like he has done previously?

Haha was just thinking this about D3.
D6 becomming a Briggs or Highmore doesnt look ideal though!

EDIT:
D3 currently Docherty. If I cull him down to a Highmore to become my D6:

Allows me to do Caldwell -> Dunkley
Sier -> Walsh/Worpel (anyone under $790k).

I’ll preface this by saying I’m not crash hot on Doc, but I’d do that in a heartbeat; great restructure.

He’s made a few little updates even before the pre-season games I’ve noticed (mostly injury or role news) so yeah I would say he will almost certainly

Yeah I dont mind it. I think I've been holding Caldwell and Sier for a bit too long and now I've grown some sort of emotional attachment to them being in my side haha.

Actually the other option is it lets me do Caldwell -> Butters and Sier -> Merrett :O

So obviously we take stats and scores with a grain of salt in the pre season but one stat you can reliably take notice of is tackles, because most players don’t bother laying any.

Dunkley with 8 of them before half time, from limited time on ground, playing in a pure midfield role... wowee

Does this change when Treloar is back?

Dunks only 6 CBA's which i think Trel will take from him
Macrae 11
Bont 10
Libba 9

Significant. The tackles speak to his intent and hunger. The CBAs speak to his role. Both were huge queries before the game; one of them still is.

EDIT: Having said that, I think Trel will take an awful lot from Bont (fwd) and Macrae (running in from off the square) as well. So I guess as we’ve been saying all PS, the doggies are a mystery.

Melb getting destroyed around the ball has to be helping Dogs numbers atm

True. Having said that, they have Collingwood first up whose midfield ain’t what it used to be. Could be some points on offer there
