I understand there is some need for experience but its over the top when you roll out guys that should have retired.
Whose spots will Vidmar and Lazaridis take?

How many has Corica played and when was last one?
I assume those he did play were as a forward as well not a midfielder.

Corica- 40 appearances 6 goals last played 2001.
I dont know who they will replace... However, Laziridis was good enough for the world cup squad and vidmar should have been in it if not for injury

dpdd and milligan were the best however, sarkies shouldve been on the ground, a more creative player than carney and corica. i thought ceccoli, corica were pretty poor with average skills n carney in bits was also disappointing, carney got a couple of good shots in but did nothing for the rest. i cant handle how overrated the sydney players are. thompson and griffifths were sh it cos their deleivery from their sydney midfield was **** poor, stupid long balls giving those short arses no chance especially in the first half. backline was solid and bolton had nothing to do

Carney set up Dodd's 1st goal and I thought he got us going in the 1st half. He didn't really have an impact around the ground but he got a few shots away.

thats kinda wot i was trying to say, he just went missing for big parts of the game

Ceccoli was utter rubbish I thought. And Milligan did a nice holding job, but his distribution was miles off what is required for a DMF role.

Also Griffiths and Thompson copped poor delivery, but they have to do better than that.

Good was Dodd, Muscat and Carney (at least he was creative).

Anyway, good result - I doubt as many of the European-based players will come out now, but oh well.

Asia here we come!

Corica has always been a playmaking midfielder.

In his pomp he was an exciting prospect who carved out a decent enough career in the old English First Division, despite suffering the dreaded torn ACL most Aussies with any potential seem to cop.

Ok.
In his Marconi days I thought he played as a forward.
He did precious little playmaking on Wednesday.
