Wow the things that happen when your at work.

From what I have seen , albeit through my tv, they seem to work together on the field , yet my brother has said he has seen at the games at AAMI sometimes that either will turn away from the other and look for a different option.

I do believe McLeod and Edwards ARE putting their differences aside and are working for the team, but this issue with the wives will burn more fences than anything ever conceived

It's not just the club, macca see's his after football career outside of SA.
Best case = Gibbs, likely = Polak, unlikely but possible = he stays.

You did bring that a while ago and my opinion was that it just wouldn't sit right with me if a champion was traded for the sake of it and finished his career anywhere other than Crows.

The current situation is certainly something that rings a few alarm bells. I don't believe that Edwards and McLeod are unprofessional about it since, like PC, I believe they play well together on the field and I haven't noticed at any stage one not passing the ball to the other.

IMHO, the problem is not between McLeod and Edwards but between the 2 pea brains that can't stay out of the way of each other. If this doesn't get solved, it could seriously damage the club.

Its a very delicate situation IMHO and how do you choose which player to trade. For me it would be impossible. Both are super important to us and hopefully the 2 primadonnas can settle their differences (or at least be more respectful when around each other) and these 2 champions can finish their respective careers with the Crows.

If the push comes to shove then one has to be traded and hopefully we get something good in return. Even though it would leave a sour taste in my mouth

I agreed with all of your points prior to the NAB semi's, but by mid season I thought he's better off elsewhere.
No one (or their family) is bigger than the club.

Our club has always been clicky but the division this year has become bad for business.

Some people seem to have forgotten that the problem between Hewett and McLeod revolves around Hewett doing the dirty on McLeod over a DVD (a trip to the NT that Andrew took Leighton on and Leighton then produced a DVD without Andrews knowledge or permission. Doesnt sound like a very "friendly" thing to do if you ask me). The problem between the wives stems from allegiances after a very public (and somewhat nasty) split between Hewett and Kleisters and then his rather rapid romance and wedding with Bec. I would think Rachael was already anti Leighton because of the DVD issue but also because that's where Andrew went when they had a break (perhaps she thought Leighton influenced Andy to leave?). To her, Leighton was a thorn in her families security side.

I am really disappointed to see people slamming Rachael and calling her the most horrendous names. This is Andrew's wife you are talking about people. The mother of his children. To speak about her in the terms you are is disgusting IMO.

BOTH wives are at fault here. To lay the blame on only one is unfair.

Spot on Jenny, but the DVD issues were more about Leyton not having permission to use the footage that was shot on tribal lands that Andrew had permission to use and not Leyton.

I was at Swish last friday and didn't see what happened, in fact can't remember Tyson and his wife being there at all. Not to say it didn't happen, just I didn't see it. The confidential vultures were all sitting outside with cameras at the ready and waiting to see what was going to occur.

Thankyou. I have a similar with four close friends of mine who can't stand each other. I have basically said what bus24 has said here to both of my friends who dislike each other. Sometimes they are invited to a birthday or the like that I have and they say hello but then avoid each other.Thats how human beings behave, if you want to behave like a dog asserting your dominance find a local park to do it in.

I am most certainly not blaming one party over the other. No way!!!!!! To me they are both equally at fault and thats me looking from the outside in. Those at the club would have a much better picture of who is instigating the rift and who is just getting sucked in by the instigation.

Back on Rachel, I am not a great fan and she lost a lot of AFC supporters because of the way she acted when she split with McLeod. Her interview with the Advertiser was rather pathetic and it was no place for her to air her dirty laundry to public at the time. What happened between them should have stayed private and even her admitting in that interview about being jelaous seeing McLeod hanging around with Leyton and Bec because to quote her "that was my life once and I miss it".

I do agree with your sentiments that some of the comments in this thread have been rather harsh and better left unsaid, but I can also understand why people feel that way and thats mainly to do with her actions 2 summers ago when she was seperated from Andrew.
