Sadly music publishing rights across all of the artists involved makes a DVD release unfeasible. It has nothing to do with the artists themselves who would probably licence their performances without a fuss. However the song publishers are never so generous, particularly when you consider that a number of the songs were cover versions.

I think Lidge told me he would be posting highlights of it. Also told me what you just said here and that the singers would be the only ones to recieve it for their help and time.

Lidge's cameraman didn't actually film the performances however.

We will post the pre-show grabs we captured on camera from people queued to get in, including Big Footy regulars such as the Reliables, Jozeph, Kangalover, Davo01 and many more.

Top idea, blackshadow. Every bit counts (and masterful pics by the way...some of the best gig snaps I have ever seen)

I was thinking (and this may have been mooted previously) but doesn't all the sales through the Roo Shop go back to the club... maybe its a good idea to buy a whole heap of kid guernseys and merchandise and hand these out as well as buying memberships... I don't know, buy a whole crate load of caps or scarves and hand them out at the first home game next year- if that way we know the club gets 100% of the profits then its being used wisely

Its a few days late I know, but I feel the need to thank Boner, TOD & the supporting cast. An awesome night was had, with We can't be beaten the definate highlight. Didn't meet any of the BF crew this time around, but will hopefully see you all next thursday.

Haven't had a chance to get to a computer since the gig, but my deepest thanks goes out to Tim and Dean.... what a fantastic night!

One of the best rock gigs I've seen..... the absolute cream of Aussie rock assembled for North's benefit, we should be very grateful to Tim and Dean for their efforts. I felt very proud to be a North supporter!

I haven't seen You Am I play for ten years, they've still got it.

First time i've had much of a chance to post, but just wanted to re-iterate everyone's senitments to The Other Dean and co and thank them for what was a bonza night!

Was tops meeting all the people i did off here that i hadnt had the pleasure of before and catching up with the ones i already knew.

Was very dusty at work the next day, but the night was worth 3 hours sleep, raging hangover and inability to form a coherent sentence.

Awesome effort to everyone concerned!
