Dons slapped with fine
ESSENDON has been fined $20,000 for having unlisted players train at the club without official permission in the lead-up to last week's AFL rookie draft.

However, half of the fine has been suspended until the end of 2014 because the Bombers fully co-operated with the investigation, meaning the club will only pay $10,000.

What's the point in having rules if you're not going to enforce them to the letter of YOUR law?

Gave it a peek last night on foxfooty and at one stage we were up by about 10 behinds.

Bad kicking...

Mate, soooo many passengers that game.

I was able to watch it objectively this time and I was a little annoyed at the end. 45 point win.. should have been over 100.

There was a swirly wind blowing around the stadium during the game which would account for some of the bad kicking (some was just skill errors, e.g. Robbo's missed shot on goal at the Nerang River end of the ground).

Why didn't he just go with smith or jones eh?
His real name is Lumumba.

Also appeals to his ego that he's a revolutionary.

Harry O'Brien Heritier Lumumba refers to himself as Prince Lumumba on Instagram.

It's unfortunate that HL is more like Prince Akeem from Coming To America...

:D

Watched a bit of that game last night as well.
Scotland bought his own footy in the second and third quarters.
Henderson is a GUN.
Watched the first quarter of the Richmond final this week. Gibbs set up Warnock's goal by winning the ball and dodging opponents at a stoppage. Nearly a carbon copy of his effort againt the Pies from 2009. Only he dished it off by hand.

Excited at the prospect of Gibbs playing midfield each and every week. Feel he could step up and go to another level like Ryan Griffen did last season. Beasted the Richmond final before having a good game against the Swans.

This!

I truly believe Gibbs is ready to take it by storm next season. He has shown enough last year. He is the complete player and will be the one to watch from Carlton next year! ****ing cannot wait!!
