I watched the first half. Levi was marking everything that came his way & his ball use around the ground was quite good. I still think we have a lot to work with in Levi, particularly if he gets on a roll. His confidence could go through the roof.

It was also a reminder of why the recruitment of Wood as insurance is important. Rowe & Levi in the ruck, when Kreuzer was resting, were no match for Bailey & Hale.

If Levi can sort out his kicking action when kicking at goal, then we have a mobile CHF who can seriously hoof the ball. Play Waite out of the goal square and we have a good forward line.

It becomes interesting when we add Henderson into the mix and that might push Waite into a forward pocket.

If you are referring to the game where we were leading midway through the third quarter, then 10 or 11 straight free kicks to Hawthorn later we lose by a couple of goals, then yes I can't watch it either. There are some losing games I could watch, definitely not that one without wanting to hurt an umpire.

As a general rule I don't watch games that we lose. And yes, that second half against Hawthorn was horrific. The umpires all but gifted them that game. Will be a great test for us next year to see if we can finally knock them off without Franklin.

Confusion may lead to trainers' colour change

In round 12 this year, when Carlton played Hawthorn, there were two incidents where Carlton players kicked in the direction of 'teammates' only to realise after the kick they had mistaken Hawthorn trainers in dark polo tops as 'teammates'.

It led Carlton coach Mick Malthouse to say after the game he was "a little bit confused and concerned that we cannot get the colours right".

I guess we're all different. The "Down Memory Lane" thread has 800 posts and not one of them are mine.
Don't really care much for what was but very much interested in what may be.

SE Blue pretty much said what I feel:
McKay, Malthouse and co. are already planning for 2014 and the thread was really more about the use of our current list than the wish to discuss any possible future acquisitions. Wasn't meant to be a Trade/Delist thread but just a list discussion thread.

I guess I can throw it into the one-size fits all Rumour thread.
