Yes consider yourself blessed NoIdea. Its ironic in a time where the ability to communicate, to connect with all sorts of people and to physically visit them is at a precedent so many are alone. I have just spend a period of time in Canberra, with ANZAC memorial type stuff going on, war stuff where mateship seemed paramount amongst people who in theory had much less time or ability to know each other. Makes you wonder what friends are made of, or more relevantly by. I have had many acquaintances but very few friends Jonbe, so lucky my wife is one of them.
That's sad to hear.I'm alone too and have been for great slabs of my 69 years.
But the friends I made were strong and decent - sadly last close friend died 19 years ago.
I feel almost as if I know you jonbe54, based purely on your posting history, and you sound like a very decent bloke. A lot of the posts you make resonate with me. Not surprising I guess, we're both Aussie blokes of a similar age and it seems we share similar values. Loneliness is terrible so I sincerely hope you make new friends mate; you're never too old.I'm alone too and have been for great slabs of my 69 years.

Thx for that PE and BF is one of the constants of our lives. That's sad to here.
Your BF family are always here though....
Just think how big your BF family would be without the ignore list!Thx for that PE and BF is one of the constants of our lives.
I have a 39 year old son living in Canada and that's it as far as close family - one of the 'joys' of being 69 this year.
All good. His right to ignore when people are giving him the shits.Just think how big your BF family would be without the ignore list!
True. I am one of those. And particularly as I am on ignore, I have just as much right to give him shit .All good. His right to ignore when people are giving him the shits.
He seems a nice bloke as you are mate. Perhaps time for a hug.True. I am one of those. And particularly as I am on ignore, I have just as much right to give him s**t .
And adds more pace to our side which is becoming super quickI like how he has 1 miss kick and the same people on this forum call for his head every time
The guy is a solid player with a game style that fits us beautifully. He is every bit as serviceable as any of our bottom 6 players
He's a ripper. Makes me cringe when some here want him dropped.I like how he has 1 miss kick and the same people on this forum call for his head every time

His pace was vital at stages today and continues to keep his direct opponent quietHe's a ripper. Makes me cringe when some here want him dropped.
It is what it is.
Oleg killing it. Fly thinks so as well.
He played well today. His pace was vital at stages today and continues to keep his direct opponent quiet
Yes mate. Does this every week. His pace was vital at stages today and continues to keep his direct opponent quiet
I'm not too sure but it was his closing speed and perceived pressure which was a highlight for me. He looked like he chose the right options and kicked quite wellHe kicked well tonight and was very solid. What was his kicking efficiency?
