Just tonight for instance. Henry is playing and Johnson is not. I have a feeling that Johnson has given it his best shot already, revealing deficiencies when the pressure was on that will undermine future development. Henry on the other hand will be a star and would have been playing for us tonight if available. The 'Johnson is better' talk is just wishful thinking.
AJ is far far more talented than Ollie and taller. He had no problem with the pressure against Melb and was a revelation.
However attitude and application could be his undoing.
That said the lack of resilience and selfish attitude, of Ollie are also worrying traits.
If Ollie was 194cm ( AJ’s height) instead of 188cm I think the gap between them would be narrower.

For me, the saddest thing is that Ollie couldn't / didn't run over to wish Howe well.

I just couldn't fathom playing with someone for 2 years and seeing them get injured not go over and wish them well straight away.
Sad.
It would have been a nice gesture.
He's a super bogan. Not a single Cats player went up to him. I would have if I played for the opposition.

He showed tonight he's gonna be a superstar in a few years.

But we move on.
How? He got his first goal with a cheap one over the top and his second one the umpire gave to him for a soft free kick, which he missed and the umpire felt sorry for him let him take the kick again and gave him 50 (I actually saw the umpire kick the goal for him as well). He got caught holding the ball in the goal square, from being a f*ckwit and thinking "Oh what kind of celebration can I give to the collingwood cheer squad here" then BANG! The only decent thing I can recall him doing was shooting off a quick handball in the pocket while being tackled that resulted in a Stengle goal.

He laid a good tackle on Sidebottom, and had a good mark down back in the last quarter I think it was.

Still, the hyperbole over Henry is incredible.

Pretty tough judgement. I don't think he would have known whether it was appropriate or not.

This is about right, we are too quick to judge

Ollie should have run over and instantly Miyagi’d his arm, upon which time Howe would have sprung up and swept Cameron’s leg without mercy.

I'm just speaking from my POV and experience.
Appropriate or not wouldn't have ever entered my mind.

But maybe there is more bad blood between him and the playing group than we know and that caused him to pause.

You're in the medical profession. Why don't we see more cupping to cure serious injuries. Mr Miyagi has shown how effective it is.

He played pretty well and didnt let the fan treatment get to him, kudos to him.
He knew it was coming, and think people just needed to get it off their chests. Don't reckon it'll be that bad going forward probably more like what Beams copped years after he left. May have been the closure we all needed. Time to move forward .

It was noteworthy that all of his teammates came over on masse - I can't remember seeing that before.

We in the medical profession all became obsolete once Pete Evans brought aura-cleansing lamps to the masses.

I dunno Jen, if we keep getting the “aggro jazz hands” we might keep booing him back to the stone age, I reckon.

He's too dull and lacking in personality to maintain the rage about. The jazz hands summed up his lack of ability to maintain the role of a villain.

Trying to decide if the biggest boo was when the screen was going through the Geelong players and his name came up or the Moore tackle.

Both were pretty damn loud. Maybe the Moore tackle just?
