It was mentioned today (Trade radio by Kane Cornes if i remember correctly) that Stengle is going to live with Eddie Betts in Melbourne. If that is the case then maybe Carlton have the upper hand?

No Idea what Eddie is doing next year and whether he will have any involvement with Carlton.
Is Collingwood the right club for Tyson Stengle? (sen.com.au)
At the time that article was written, it was thought Carlton (because of Eddie) would be the best place for Stengle.
However, given all the recent change that has occurred, perhaps we are now in a position to provide a good environment. I guess the flip side is, do we really want to put at risk what we are trying to build because of one player? Or is this a good test case for our new set up lol.

Makes sense for them to keep midfield depth after losing Jones & Vandenberg. Especially with him coming so cheap.

It seems weird to me that they'd want Dunstan. He's quite ineffective when not playing as an inside midfielder, but he's also much worse at that role than Petracca, Oliver, and to a lesser extent Viney.
You gotta ask yourself, if the premiers see value in Dunstan, surely 16 other teams do as well. I would have liked us to look at him a little more as well.
