Is it an assumption that it was a bartender? All I’ve seen reported is that staff at the venue made an anonymous complaint. Going by the “theme” of the function, it sounds borderline and is anyone surprised that things veered sideways and someone made a complaint. HR policies apply to staff working at venues and just because an organisation has booked event space doesn’t give them free reign to be offensive - staff have a right to work in an environment free from discriminatory, offensive, harassing, bullying, etc conditions.

Reading between the lines of the celebrities they've dressed up as, the sex doll, one player being strongly reprimanded for somehting he said and the AFL sanctions - sexual assault has probably been a central theme of some of the comic skits.

Those campaigners are crazy if that's the case, no wonder stringer is going there

Even though the theme was "celebrity couples" it appears one half of many of the couples was a blow up doll and some of the other halves were:

• Diddy (known creep , pedo , abuser etc...)
• Jarryd Hayne ( convicted of sexual assualt)
• Josh Giddey ( supposedly likes em under age etc...)

You can see there's the potential for some pretty weird shit going down.

Funnily enough. Worked somewhere once and they hired a Santa for Christmas once to greet customers and give out small gifts to kids visiting with parents.

He was fired mid December coz he kept on hitting on the mums, staff. Plus had heavy alcohol breath each day.
