Melbourne may have just become my enemy number one and I may actually find myself wanting the scum to beat them so they go out in straight sets again.

Not to this Brisbane team who have a terrible record at the 'G. They're not the Lions if the early 2000s.
They can win at the 'G but their awful record their can't be ignored. They simply aren't the force there as they are at home.

Im torn. I dont really want to see Carlton get any further. Theyve had their one finals win for the decade and all the bullshit that usually follows. Of you go boys back to the bottom 8 next year and beyond. Melbourne will get brutalised by Brisbane up there after that

This week I particularly loathe Melbourne Football Club. All my life I've loathed the Carlton Football Club. So this week, I want them to belt the shit out of each other. Has no bearing on the Pies. It's purely for my own enjoyment.

Melbourne have made a villain out of us over the last couple of days. I'm not sure if they have it in them, but I reckon they'll try to use it as motivation, in a similar vein to how we were spurred on by "all duck no dinner" last year - there are practically no similarities but they'll try.
I reckon if there's a side capable of getting past Brisbane at the Gabba, it's the Dees. They have the midfield and the backline to make it work. They'll be helped by the omissions of McKay and Martin this week, which really simplifies the mission down back against Carlton. I wouldn't be surprised to see Melbourne get to the Granny.
