Plenty of talent, but is dire need of a head transplant. He's doing the best possible job of destroying his own career.

Have to admit, the club looks like it was absolutely right to get him off the books. Like a lot of those exits it was disappointing that we didn't get more for him given where we picked him and his 2018 season, and his initial selection in the first round just adds to my concerns about Hine. But at least he's not our problem any more.

He probably won,t be playing for north in 2 yrs time anyway and I am not sure Hine should be blamed for Stephenson that is on him he went from hero to dickhead pretty fast and the club made the right call to get rid of him when it did.

I have some broader concerns with Hine and it's more about patterns of decision making over the longer term. Broader selection strategies and factors like durability, attitude, capacity for growth and other factors that aren't specific to Stephenson and take a while to unpack.

Well after so long in the job you may be right but I think when choosing young players he is doing alright getting Ginnivan in the rookie draft is looking
good to me and I am sure to 17 other clubs also.

I think if you are alluding to Hine,s picking of KPP or lack of we have to wait for a season or 2 before putting a line through Dean,Krueger,Begg or Mchahon.

My lord Carlton. Talk about dangling a carrot to their supporter base. The one time I actually live with myself, having lathered my brain with ivory soap of course, to barrack for Carlton, they get flogged by ninthmond. So much for a top eight spot this week. Whats a better result for us? Obviously a Richmond loss keeps us in the 8 for the moment, but Carlton's spot in the 8 also looks vulnerable if they lose and they also still have Brisbane, Freo, Geelong, St Kilda and Melbourne to play on the run home.
