I'm sure you guys have noticed our little countdown on club pages and social media that count down our best players traded in.

What are your thoughts?

They put Eagleton at number 1. While I love the guy it's an interesting pick amoungst other names.

The rest were as follows:

No. 10 – Shane Biggs
No. 9 – Ben Hudson
No. 8 – Matt Suckling
No. 7 – Paul Hudson
No. 6 – Luke Beveridge
No. 5 – Jason Akermanis
No. 4 – Barry Hall
No. 3 – Jose Romero
No. 2 – Tom Boyd

What do people honestly think was our best arrival?

I mean Boyd's trade and what it stood in 2014 and his preformance in most of finals alone makes me think he was the best actually.

Eagleton probably gave us more over a longer period than any of the others on that top 10 list. Don't mind him being 1st on that basis.

It was only 2 seasons but I feel he's almost under rated on the social media list.

Peter Foster would be ahead of a number of those guys too.

We play to win premierships. T Boyd, incredibly average during H&A but stood up in a finals series and GF in a big way.

That's all that matters for me.

If you put aside the way he left the club, he was actually a damn good player for us. I'd kill to have a carbon copy of 2009 Akermanis at the club right now, exactly what we need.

Jose from that list for me but eagle close behind. Agree with mofra on Foster, he would take 1st if on list.

Without a doubt it is Hall and Aker as 1 and 2...
We got those guys late in their careers but we finally saw some exceptional talent running around in the red, white and blue rather than serviceable foot soldiers which is what I would classify every other option on that list.
Just goes to show that we should start shooting for the superstars rather than the role players...

I think given the Boyd trade had a direct impact on us winning the premiership in 2016 he has to be no 1 —— it’s all about the results people.

I was a huge Toohey fan. Was Dent a trade in too? He went alright.

Peter Foster by far the best player we have traded in IMO. Second best CHB behind Roos.

Scott Welsh was good.

Cannot believe Biggs is on the list.

Nickie Winmar and Tony Buhagier were traded in as was T cloke if people are looking for names.
