Adelaide Now and Nine News mentioned he had a second interview last night and is in the final four.

Seven said it was down to Nicks Burns and Yze
Theo gets a good line from the club, but why else would Harvey be interviewed ??

Cheers for that, on holidays in NSW where AFL doesn't exist on TV news services.

Would like Teague, Longmuir or Ratten.

Oh, wait, we left it until the best options were already secured, so now we're sifting through the best of the rest.

Im a huge fan of Teague however for Family reasons he wont take any interstate coaching roles

In terms of Ratten, great to see him get another opportunity however there still has to be question marks over Ratts as a senior coach

Longmuir was always Freo's preferred candidate

If they are looking for someone who has demonstrated the leadership in uniting a club with a singular focus towards success then Stone has to be a consideration.

Unlike Bassett, Mattner, Schofield etc who could be claimed to have done similar, Stone has a far better AFL assistant CV to go with demonstrated senior coach success.

As far as I know Nicks, Yze, Burns have never coached their own teams/clubs?

A bit of Chris Fagan in it👍

Senior Coach along with the CEO role are the 2 most important positions at any club

Leadership should always be an key attribute of the role and strongly considered and assessed as part of any senior coaching appt

That final four keeps getting bigger. Burns has been in and out of it 3 times!

Got to laugh at the media, they have no idea on this one.

As a Glenelg member I’ve seen Stone up close and he is very impressive. Anyone who could turn the Bays around in two years knows his stuff.

I would not be at all surprised if he gets it, but I think it will be one of the more we’ll known names

I'm wary of someone jumping straight from the SANFL to an AFL senior coaching position, although that is probably only because it rarely if ever happens. And Stone does has a heap of AFL assistant experience (in the opposition analysis and stoppages roles too).

H sounds bloody fantastic as a senior assistant.

Clarkson?

So many variables apply.

Some people get head hunted, no interview needed. KFC/McDonalds et el as a 15 year old would have an informal interview, a general chat and then offered a job after a discussion with the manager or owner. They have a trial period.

Some people get hired after showing their performance via volunteering or short term contracts. Nepotism helps build that credibility and they gain employment th

Some need multiple interview. Some have an interview to a panel. It just depends on the level of the occupation. The higher and more important the role, the longer the interview process is.

One process doesn’t just fit the role.

Speaking from experience Alex? 🤣🤣

Ps. I’ve been head hunted a couple of times and there are usually still interviews. You have to meet others in the organisation and show your wares

As a Bays fan I have been very impressed with him and how he motivates his players. He seems to have a great strategic mind as well. I'd hate to lose him from the Bays though.

Some media in Perth might be running with a story today that Burns, Nicks, Hocking etc have all pulled out of the race and we're starting the search again. They could just be guessing giving Harvey's name popped up and they are prone to big guesses.

Assistant coach, head of football? No idea but I get the feeling that we are lining up several replacements
Maybe just maybe we have underestimated our Crows hierarchy and they are going to go BANG.
Here is your coach ----- Here is no 2 Coach ---- Forward coach ----
Mr Burton replacement --------- Fitness coach -------
Mr Fagan will be resigning in 6 months .

Maybe. Chapman has mentioned a series of announcements and I don’t see us sacking Burton without a replacement lined up . They might be making sure that new coach and new head of football can work together. How can Burton be head of football ongoing and not be on the interview panel! He can’t possibly survive
