Well... they certainly haven't for some time for sure, but in just this past little while they've been doing/saying all the right things. I'm hoping they are a wake up.... and are doing everything they can to rectify things. That's me... the eternally hopeful!

There's no point getting so worked up about the coach announcement.

2020 is a write off anyway. Not even Clarko would be able to turn us around with the shambles our list is in.

It's all about 2021. Hopefully we can improve our image over the next 12 months, so people will want to come here.

Perhaps they actually haven't assigned a coach yet. Would be pretty hard to make an announcement when the coach hasn't been decided.
Also they'd have to organise for the coach to fly over for the press conference.

Roo was pretty careful with his words, saying Nicks "hasn't got the job".

One might read that as his application has failed.

One might read that as they haven't yet decided on the coach.

One might read that as they told him they want him, but the contract hasn't been signed yet, and so technically he hasn't got the job.

Sorry... it's just that everyone is attacking the club at every frigging turn (Burton/Campo gone... why hasn't Chappie and Roo; Eddie's gone.... why are we paying anything?)... it's hard not to read everything as a jibe. What I meant was, I don't think it's a case of indecision, rather a case of being extremely thorough, and making sure all the pieces fit into the box. They can't afford to get this wrong.
