I err the other way and expect a lot of turnover in that space. Bytel, Sullivan, Eyre and Long are in considerable trouble given the raft of signings post exit interviews and how we’ve been turning over the bottom end of the list.

I find it curious that Parker is OOC. I haven’t looked into it, but signing him in April on a 6 odd month contract and allowing him to remain OOC at this stage of the season with what he was able to do late season after years out of the game seems strange to me.

Maybe it’s enough to grab another premiership. But it’s a massive risk.

He's saying Collingwood enquired and were interested in him if it were a salary dump, like Bowes last year. Gold Coast said it wasn't, and wanted a first rounder for him. Collingwood no longer interested.

They both have cap space to fit him according to the tweet.

Based on the tweet, we have or could have made the space for Lukosius $1M. We were interested if it was a salary dump situation. Would make sense, trying to get back into the first round of the draft.

Eyre’s not getting delisted - he has been crueled by injury so hasn’t really had a decent opportunity to prove
himself.

I'm sure I heard somewhere from Petracca that he will be going overseas in the offseason to do a fitness camp. The guy is a pro.

If he doesn't get back to his best, it won't be through a lack of trying.

Then why wasn’t he re-contracted alongside Steene today? He’s behind Moore, Frampton, Dean and probably Keane in 2025 and it probably comes down to him or Krueger up forward unless we bring someone in which puts heat on both of them.

We simply can’t keep Bytel and probably even Sullivan on the list. Long, I can see a use for, but still having those 3 + Macrae is too many plodders.

I doubt we recruited eyre after his injury for 6 months. It was never about this year for him. Always a long term prospect. We all knew this and we don’t have many 200cm defenders.

None of the rookies have yet been contracted. But begg was the only one that got delisted.
