That’s not to suggest all of them are done, but using Eyre specifically all it takes is to add Keane and then have designs on one of the Whitlocks (who seem to be flavour of the month) and he’s a long way back at both ends. For instance I’d be keeping Krueger over him and I imagine the club would as well based on 2024 performances. That's what I think too. Richards has a decision to make. The others are hoping for an offer from any club and we'll make final decisions on them after we see where we're at post trade week.
We would be hating ourselves in two years. Some of you have zero idea. Give away our future first and ALLAN FFS.
Edward going nowhere. Staying put.
Do not bring his name up again.
Nick and Edward are a part of our future.
Absolutely. We've been in the habit of signing one or two post trade week recently. It just suggests we're not willing to commit yet. And for all we know one or two of them might ave been offered contracts and no one has reported it yet. That’s not to suggest all of them are done, but using Eyre specifically all it takes is to add Keane and then have designs on one of the Whitlocks (who seem to be flavour of the month) and he’s a long way back at both ends. we were on the good side of the Lipinski deal, paid unders IMHONoble is best 22, Lipinski’s was
not at the time of the trade. Richards is being offered a 3 year deal.
Hopefully not BytelReckon we will keep most of not all of the rookies.

I think he's more likely to be signed than the inside mids.Hopefully not Bytel
Rather play players like Parker and Harry D before BytelI think he's more likely to be signed than the inside mids.
One best 22 flanker requested a trade. Another prospect for the wing looking a fair chance to request a trade and no reported interest for any flankers yet, but a bit for inside mids.
Need depth though.Rather play players like Parker and Harry D before Bytel
My understanding is there is a strong chance all of Long Sullivan and Bytel have been delisted alreadyWe simply can’t keep Bytel and probably even Sullivan on the list. Long, I can see a use for, but still having those 3 + Macrae is too many plodders.
You said when was the last time we had one, let alone 3. I provided you with the answer you sought. If you wanted 3, you should have just said when was the last time we had 3 lopsided tradesNext two?
This comparison is doing my head in. Surely we all know by now the problems Beams had. Petracca has been a clear skin for 10 years. Stop buying into the media B.S.I’m getting big Dayne Beams v2.0 vibes about this whole situation.
Petracca increasing looking like damaged goods, perhaps mentally and physically, yet is at a pristine showroom-condition price in terms of both dollars and picks.
Caveat emptor!

That was what I asked as my follow up question. Judging by this the answer would be it hasn’t happened? You said when was the last time we had one, let alone 3. I provided you with the answer you sought. If you wanted 3, you should have just said when was the last time we had 3 lopsided trades
I mean, I guess you could say that Mitchell was lopsided toward us (essentially pick 41 and they paid a chunk of his wage) too. Frampton probably came out even maybe slightly ahead, a late 3rd for competent depth that helped us win a GF.That was what I asked as my follow up question. I wouldn’t say that. I would say it was leaning Geelong unfortunately. Frampton I would agree on as fair value. Lipinski fair value again as an uncontracted player outside the best 23 and likely to be a similar result to what we get for Richards if he departs.I mean, I guess you could say that Mitchell was lopsided toward us (essentially pick 41 and they paid a chunk of his wage) too. Previous to that I’d say Lipinski was in our favour, obviously not the same year.
And anyone else who has any sense.
Unfortunately Richmond want a 1st round pick for Lynch. His wage would be bugger all though.Maybe we'll try to get a first round pick by taking Lynchballs contract, maybe our future 1st for their mid 1st + F2nd as a last resort if tigs don't play ball with just giving us one with Lynch. Then keep pick 20 for the draft that we get for JFN and use ports pick for Richards to get Davies. Maybe extra picks swapped between us and GC.
If anyone else goes (Johnson ) then that's bonus picks
Some journo has. Can't recall who.i am amazed we aint linked to Tom Lynch yet lol
We might need a 24 hour watch on Fat Jesus if this reliable info on Ned Long is accurateAnd anyone else who has any sense.
Hilarious ppl think Petracca is damaged goods, his professionalism/conditioning is Pendlebury tier, we’re gonna regret not going hard to get him in
Yes, considering we don't actually have one at the minuteSix weeks til trade period so I’m not sure we’ve shown our hand just yet.
We don't know how hard they are/have gone in their enquiries.Hilarious ppl think Petracca is damaged goods, his professionalism/conditioning is Pendlebury tier, we’re gonna regret not going hard to get him in
