Looking at this latest version of the trade has put a dampener on my enthusiasm about this. Of course getting Houston in is still amazing but it looks as though we’ve ended up trading out of this draft almost completely to do it, which isn’t an ideal outcome given Leppas earlier comments about wanting to maintain a presence in the draft and wanting to keep 23.
I was genuinely looking forward to being able to see us draft a decent KPP in the second round this year but it looks like another year of having to rely on Hine to sift through the rubble to find a couple of diamonds again.

Absolutely. I have never rated the draft. I totally agree with Fly’s stance. Prefer to stay around the window and bring in known commodities by trading picks.
How many early draftees never amount to anything.
