Looks like trengove is going to play be doing plenty of ks and play for the southern giants, who are only an outside chance of playing finals but must be willing to pay top dollar, seems a real strange decision, surely he's made enough money playing AFL, why not try get Corowa into finals or Lavington, or play for north and coach them next year

If true how pathetic. Don’t you think North Albury have suffered enough in the past decade. Their juniors used to be a rabble and the committee have worked amazingly hard to get their junior club to now the most consistent clubs in that competition. For a so called ‘proud’ club like Albury to be doing that is a complete disgrace.

wang and rovers contact all under 16s players no matter where their individual preference lies, they could have played a couple games up that year for the opposite side or their parents be 300 game players for the rival. Would still make contact you'd be silly not too

Something needs to be done regarding the reserves competition and soon.
Almost every club is struggling for player numbers throughout the reserves.
Raiders have only kicked 8 goals in the past 6 games, North are battling big time.
Albury getting past players to fill in.
It’s in big trouble & not good for the O&M. Player numbers in the region in general has declined

most people don’t want to play twos o&m. They rather go play country leagues and earn more cash in a better club environment, the o&m is too semi professional and training 3 nights a week is a huge ask most o&m clubs are filled with egos. Country clubs are more welcoming and a more enjoyable place to be around.
This is a state wide issue
Reserves footy is gone, girls should play at the thirds time, thirds bump up to reserves time.
There needs to be mou with minor clubs all through the state, where the guys who miss out play for a minor league club.

Plenty of numbers at country clubs that have the right culture.
Head in the sand comments sorry fellas, there are forfeits in reserves comps happening all over the state, you can't expect 40+ year olds to prop up you reserves. Also plenty of clubs in minor leagues are on right on the brink for numbers.
Having mous fixes that, as well as allowing players to openly play between the major and minor league, eg no clearance is required if you have an mou. Albury should be forced to tee up with waghunyah, that strengthens them up and provides a future that they may not necessarily have. These should be things the hubs should be discussing with clubs
Why on earth would people not getting a game at Albury want to drive 50 minutes to play a lower standard? they'd also be driving past plenty of clubs

One of the reasons Reserve Grade is struggling is exactly the comment you made.
Replace them with Womens footy.
It’s about time the guys that bust their arse for their own footy club each week in the reserves knowing they ain’t good enough to get a permanent Senior game but still put on the boots each week and then straight after the game help with the bar or bbq while the paid players get their cash get some well earned respect.
Shits loads of money get thrown at AFL womens across the country. But hell. The real workers of the club get forgotten about.
Without being called sexist. Woman’s footy has a bloody long way to go before it has any right to replace the reserve grade.
I’ll bet some clubs will fold cause they invest in Woman’s footy but forget what formed their club 50 yrs.

Yep because a mou with a north Albury or Wodonga Raiders would make so much sense, to pair up the stuggling major league clubs with the struggling minor league clubs, I'm sure Albury could easily find some cash for a mini bus for them
The hardest thing about having “feeder” clubs/leagues is that they need to be all in.
The Hume league are governed by AFL NSW and I’d highly doubt they’d let AFL vic take them over.
Ideal situation is surrounding leagues are all taken over by the O&M and have potentially different divisions.
