Missing would be a fail, the Myrt hiccup has caused me some sleepless nights, but we’ve set up nicely, crunching some figures and third spot is the likely landing pad. From then on we control our destiny.
I'd be curious how you figure you'll finish 3rd

I'll await your explanation/theory
Fixture to come
Magpies 4 more wins
Rovers 3 more wins

Considering your 40% behind as well your accountant must be creative

Rovers get their percentage boost next week with a 15 goal win over Myrt. Tipping NA to upset Wang next week, and then Albury to beat them comfortably the week after. I’m confident we will pick off Albury on the run home and will get another percentage boost with some redemption against NA. If Lavington can kick straight that’ll be another danger game for Wang. Wodonga making up the numbers.

Do you know how much is required to make up 40+%

Good luck but you will be disappointed again

Yep, it is. Would sting

Football is no different to the game of life, it’s all about taking your chances, late nights pondering what might’ve been is for losers. My advice to some of these teams, cut the rubbish, stop trying so hard to mimic the woke rubbish we see in league football today. You want to have fun, Jen bloody train hard, look each other in the eye and get on with the task. The formula hasn’t changed. The Raiders had the audacity for mind games a week ago and look where that got them, 89 point hiding while our blokes were in second gear.

Good % boost for Wang M

Not quite 40% but handy enough 😉

You've got to beat Myrtleford first Geoff, short memory? If they have a full list they are, as you'd be aware tough to beat, wasn't that also primes best game, where he kicked 4? You'll need to find 15 goals from somewhere after last time, against a fresh side, primed to knock you off and stuff up your finals

Sorry to intrude on the thread - I'm a keen follower of the O&M albeit from a distance, but couldn't resist picking up on this little contradiction from the past 24 hours.

Rovers were beaten by a better side on that day, their couple of big blokes did some damage too. Rovers had just come off three big wins in a row so they might have been a touch ”relaxed” and got walloped for their troubles.

It’s a great season but a pity for Lavi as they find themselves out of contention (probably) after some very narrow losses.

On a side note: we never get a match day report from YKW nor even a mention of any significant highlights or lowlights, umpires performance?… it’s almost as if he doesn’t attend.

Huge game next week. Top 3 looks settled. Wodonga just had their first win since May 6 and next weeks game against Lavington could either consolidate the top 5 or it could be game on.
Dogs are 2 games clear of Lavi and only have 5 games left inc the one against Lavi.
They have games against Yarra, Albury and a 50/50 game against Rovers. They should beat Myrtleford. One guaranteed win.
Lavi have 6 games left and will definitely beat Raiders. They have 50/50 games against Dogs and Nth Albury.
Next week we should know if the five is set or whether it’s game on.

I’m disappointed with Prime Train, if you can jet off around the world you can bloody run the water on a Saturday. How’s the recovery going? Piss weak.
I think you should pen (crayon) a letter to him

Getting a tan is more important than attending the Lavi and Myrt game? Get a grip, I defended him when others said his heart wasn’t in it, and for what? How arrogant to think he’ll be back in that side for finals footy, his form barely warranted selection as it was. At least he’ll have a good excuse for his fan club as to why he’s playing in the twos come September. But honestly, you’ll find he won’t return.
