Shouldn't all clubs come to an agreement that all corowa players should be permit only within the league for a year, pretty easy for clubs to vote on
Again, without the ability to see clearances it looks like about 20 per cent, maybe less, of 2022 list are staying in OM. Cam Wilson, Barrett, melksham, Hansen are names who spring to mind. it might sound nice that they will come back at end of this season, but being honest they’re going to want to see something very enticing such as very high profile coach backed by hungry, motivated committee before even contemplating return. This is why it’s got to be stripped right back and Start again with a special meeting to elect committee to go forward. so much has changed since agm.

First sentence is correct.

Completely unnecessary.
Murray and his family are exceptional people.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but yours are becoming irrelevant.
He came through the Wang magpies system.
Came back from years in the sanfl to play with good mates at Myrtleford who he’d played at the bushrangers with.
They have left.
He’s now at his home club.

Click 'ignore' to his drivel.
When enough people do it, watch him skulk away because no-one takes the bait.

If Melksham isn't playing for Melbourne can they target him? Would need it done before the end of July so they can really sell the club. Even if they can get him as an Assistant Coach for 2024 with a handover in 2025. Give Owens the year & let Jake settle in the club without the pressure.

plenty of former juniors down in Melbourne/Geelong, Buy them a mini bus for 2024 fund the fuel. Make it super easy, they might bring some uni mates?

Aren’t you the one only two days ago predicting Rovers to fall in a hole because of travelling players? Now you want bulk players in a mini bus? How ridiculous would it be for a bunch of sore body’s stuck in a mini-bus back to Geelong after a thumping in Albury. Back to the drawing board Mr Dog twelve.

Yes Peta, I actually meant the bus itself literally fall in to a pot hole on the Hume. Let’s stick to footy please, sick of the trash talk. So back to the sustainability of a min bus full of players travelling from Geelong, what are people’s thoughts? Could maybe install an ice bath in the isle?

Difference is mate, majority of these guys are locals & have a rich family history at the club. Rovers paying overs for TikTok influencers, VFL players & the coach threw his afl career away because he couldn't keep his nose clean. It is completely different.

Think before ya speak or better yet just leave

So the University mates you suggest that could board the magic school bus, do they have a rich family history at the club? Prime Train pays for himself tenfold this year, that’s not an issue, and as for the coach, he’s local to the area, and was screwed over by a dysfunctional club, I’ve got a feeling that story could have another chapter.

Ya gotta read it properly. I said MIGHT get some uni mates. That's far from ideal but if you can add 2-3 outsiders to 10-12 locals they will learn the way of the club.

Sam Murray is from Ganmain mate. that's 2 hours 35 mins away from rovers ground (check google map if you know how) there is no way you can claim him as a local to the area. Before crezza paid him overs to drive up that highway, the only time he'd been to the rovers ground was to play for Wodonga Raiders. What have you got to say about rovers recruiting players from other clubs? or is that different because raiders didn't want to deal with his shit?

You started the trash talk with BigDog, TennisFan. Back to footy. Rovers last game last year had only 13 1 pointers, the smallest amount of last years top 5. They have again recruited more ring ins this year. Points will be an issue, again. You talk of sustainability previously, so, how long do you envision this to last? I know your main sponsors are tipping in big bucks to pay for it all, does that stop once you’ve bought your flag? Like Albury did, like Yarra did, like Wang did, or is this just because of the great culture at W. J Findlay Oval? What says you, TennisFan?

Think a very underrated thing all these "Big 3" have done is retention of players to the area. Very few travelling, most stay 3-4 years so they get down to minimal points. The constant revolving door of the 4-5 point players at rovers just won't work

Fun Fact: A round bus trip from Geelong to Corowa is 758km, my geography is fine Mr Mini Van, I’m aware of where Sam learnt his craft. Also, Crezza doesn’t poach players, he’s a leader among men and attracts people naturally, it would be a disservice to the Rovers if he turned the talent away, big difference, there was no head hunting at vulnerable clubs.

Well done. Glad to see you've spent time doing a little research.

nothing to do with the $1500, bag & pie (looks like his had a fair few pies since leaving afl)

that's apart of footy, one thing that isn't is Glenrowan. Hate rovers but really hope that you don't take them down like you did the Kelly Tigers
How is somebody’s appearance relevant? Mark my words Big Dog Twelve, the cup will be aloft in Muzza’s hands come September, and it’s going to be the beginning of a dynasty, because Prime and co aren’t going anywhere.

Doesn’t poach players. Where did your boy Filo first play when he came to the O&M??

Isn't muzza driving the mini-van from melbs with all the rovers recruits, or maybe that's job, stop at the airport on the way and pick up your boy brodes as well

You are sounding every bit as petulant and juvenile right now champ. I don’t suppose the fact that his brother Nick played at Rovers, and was drafted from there before Sam arrived at the club had anything to do with it? Or maybe the fact that they have a family connection through club legend Bob Murray that pre-dated anything to do with Cresswell?

I know that Tennis rankles a few on the forum but don’t let your hatred for Rovers, that you have now made us all aware of, blind you too the facts. Plus the cheap shots around drug use are weak as pi$$. Wouldn’t be a single cretin on here that hasn’t made a mistake in their life, and I think Sam has well and truly paid his penance and he turned his life around for the better ten fold.

Gutless as all hell to take pot shots behind a pseudonym online, especially when you wouldn’t do it to his face

Where did Rovers recruit Filo from? Last I checked Eaglehawk don’t front up on weekends in the O&M 🤔 or is there some rule that I’m not aware of that says if you leave a league to play elsewhere, and then return at a later date you have to go back to the club that you previously played for.

Come on ROOTA, you are really slipping. It’s a shame because you never used to buy into the petty stuff

Hahaha mate so its ok for TF to have cheap shots at every other club & move this off forum off topic but once its on the other foot it isn't ok?

TF is always quick to remind everyone of the issues around sam & why he was sacked by Collingwood.

I might've gone too far there but TF brings out the worst in everyone
