Why would he want to leave? He'd know that this is the best squad we've assembled and he'd know there is success around the corner.

I'm hoping he's not asking for a squllion pounds per week, but I'd certainly be giving him whatever he was asking for (within reason), he's going to be an absolute superstar, one of the best defenders in the world very, very shortly.

Huntelaar is a good signing for Real, but IMO they could have spent the money on a Central Defender. We all know what their problems are this season and it certainly doesn't have anything to do with scoring goals

# Manchester City and Chelsea lead the race to sign Valencia striker David Villa.

There's a £100 Million buy-out clause in his contract. I personally don't think he would suit City's forward line but I guess he can fit into most he's that good.

# Reading manager Steve Coppell has launched his own respect campaign by fining players 50 per cent of their weekly wage if they are booked for dissent.

My respect (heh) for Coppell just went up a lot.:thumbsu:

**** off! Do we have to get the petition started again?

Where do I sign on that one.

Bowyer shouldn't have a future at West Ham with Parker, Noble, Collison and Mullins all ahead of him for a CM spot.

Hopefully he's one of the "fringe" players we'll be clearing out come January, and not the likes of Matty Upson or Robert Green.
