Well he bought a house in October yet I don't remember seeing it in the paper, they either don't know about it or don't consider it to be newsworthy.
 
buying a house has nothing to do with him wanting to live there. It would be like all Adelaide supporters (which a lot are) saying that he's staying at the Crows because he's a business partner at the Alma.
 
If I was on the money he is on right now and knowing the type of money I will soon be on I'd probably buy a nice property down on the coast near my parents for my life after footy. Could use it in the off season and when I visit on my days off from training.

Yep. It's not like he wouldn't be able to afford only 1 house. There would be many players investing in property, and have multiple properties that they then can rent out.

Edit: if your making that much, investment properties would be greatly useful for tax deductions.

Whispers suggest he's coming to Port on a 6 year contract - wanted a change of scenery. Pretty much locked in now with about the same amount of accuracy as everyone else in this thread speculating he's coming to their club.

Eventually due to FA a cold and bold defection to the dark side in SA will happen and vice versa, it will just add to atmosphere and flavour of our Showdowns.

So PSD won't be in play for Dangerfield but will be in play for Carlisle ! Your logic has me confused.

You have me confused.

Firstly before I start do you honestly think we will have too match danger will want a 100% assurance he is getting to where he wants to go before he declares anything so clubs will need to discuss and agree on everything. He will not want any risk of entering the PSD

Secondly Connors has said the AFC will want to be compensated for losing him if he was to leave, Costa has pleaded with The AFC not to stand in PD's way and Roo has indicated they would match an offer if compensation isn't what he deems fair.

Lastly PD has sprouted all year that he loves the Adelaide football club and do we know an offer has been made by the AFC he may want to go home but if a deal can't be done he may stay as he loves the club he said so himself. Bit different to Ryder leaving the Dons
