Well he bought a house in October yet I don't remember seeing it in the paper, they either don't know about it or don't consider it to be newsworthy. That would be news, are you kidding you don't think it would be.

Be careful those Big Bad Hawks don't go ruining the dream. No thread on this?
Down to 2. Confident we will get him.
Yep. It's not like he wouldn't be able to afford only 1 house. There would be many players investing in property, and have multiple properties that they then can rent out.If I was on the money he is on right now and knowing the type of money I will soon be on I'd probably buy a nice property down on the coast near my parents for my life after footy. Could use it in the off season and when I visit on my days off from training.
Lol no.Be careful those Big Bad Hawks don't go ruining the dream.
Will be delighted when Dangerfield runs out in the brown & gold next year
Whispers suggest he's coming to Port on a 6 year contract - wanted a change of scenery. Pretty much locked in now with about the same amount of accuracy as everyone else in this thread speculating he's coming to their club.
Just because he's rejected Adelaides offer doesn't mean Adelaide can't match
And how will this affect or bother Adelaide as they will not change the rules until after the draft period?
Do Adelaide fans think Walsh and the playing group will tolerate an individual on ridiculous money for 2 years who doesn't want to be there and will then walk for nothing ?
If Adelaide insanely match the Geelong offer , then Dangerfield stays , cops the $2.4 million , and walks in 2 years for nothing .
The PSD won't come into play , he wants to go to Geelong , either this year as a RFA with Adelaide getting a first round compo pick or in 2 years as a FA with Adelaide getting nothing !!
Why match an offer if a player has rejected a contracted - Its stupid !
Adelaide matches and watch the AFLPA tighten up Free Agency - No more RFA and reduction in eligibility for FA.
Thats there problem. If the Hawks snag Danger you can bet there will be a bit of an uproar from other clubs with Eddie leading the charge.
Nope, if he wants a Premiership then Geelong is not the place.Does anyone seriously think he will be anywhere other than Geelong next year?
Why?If the Hawks snag Danger you can bet there will be a bit of an uproar from other clubs with Eddie leading the charge.
