Named in the back pocket as well, guess that can all change once the AFL emergencies are named
They usually get chucked into the team once the bench at WAFL goes from an 8-man down to a 4-man. It's gone down to 4-man and they still haven't been named.

May well be put back into the team eventually (well 2/3 of them anyways, coz you'd have a holdover), but maybe we hold all 3 over in the event that the Port game is a dead rubber? Would be a bit of a shitty situation for Raz, Banners and Aish if that's what they do.

EDIT: Aish and Raz have finally been added in. Weirdly, Brodie out now even though he was never an AFL emergency.

Why? Not holding Reidy over against Geelong cost us. This game is more important and you can’t predict the future on Saturday.

That's a different thing: being a holdover for an immediate injury concern is important. That's why you basically always have 1 if the WAFL game is the day before the AFL game.

But if we hold all 3 emergencies over instead to basically go "if the Port game doesn't matter because Bulldogs, Hawks and Carlton all won, you 3 can play the AFL game so we can wrap the guys that matter more in cotton wool for next season"...it's probably the right decision on paper, but man it'd be cold.

I see your point but I recon all three would rather miss a WAFL on the chance of playing AFL. Even if that chance is a dead rubber and last game.
