Peoples thoughts on Craig Hutchison?

Those three couldn't be more different... I don't see how you could lug them together, unless you are simply classifying them in terms of your affection for them.
Anyway, Caro is a far superior journo to Hutchy. For starters, she can speak english.

When he breaks a story he looks like he's just about to soil himself. I can't stand him.

Footy confidential needs to get rid of Archer and Hutchison. I'd much rather see Mike Sheehan replace Hutchy, and a more articulate and balanced ex player like Dunstall, Brereton or Buckley to replace Archer who cant see past his beloved Kangas.

His desperation should be an inspiration to the players.
Hutchy gets big stories, e.g. Bowden getting dropped. He concentrates too much on boring boardroom crap and not enough on actual footy issues, although he's not Robinson Crusoe on that score among the footy journo community, they are all guilty of that. I like his podcast too, he doesn't fall into the trap of being self-indulgent and yakking on with his old journo mates too much (Mark Fine, I'm looking at you!).
I did gain respect for him after the exchange between him and Nathan Thompson on FC last night where he said he held off on breaking the story on Thommo's depression, after consulting Beyond Blue about it, while Tony Jones did. He came out of that one smelling like roses.

Desperate Ambulance chaser who believes in his own hype and has the charisma of a block of wood.
Over sensationalises boring and otherwise unimportant/irrelevant stories to the point of making mountains out of mole hills. Comes across as being completely self important and whenever he interviews someone he seems to ride on an extremely high horse.
Capable of reasonable journalism when he isn't sitting in the gutter or seeking to ruin someone else for his own aggrandizement.
For a simple Journalist he is featured far too much in the sports media, from his slot on the Footy Show to Footy Classified, for what he is, he is too far over exposed.
As it was said before he seems to pick sides (usually the wrong side) and stick with it so zealously as to drive people to read his articles or watch his interviews simply for the spectacle that is his perpetual floundering.
Finally, seems to perpetuate an annoying personality, otherwise known as a tosser.

ffs 'a good journo'. and i suppose that the tabloid rubbish in the uk are reputable in depth spreads of the important issues effecting the world. Give me a break. He's a good journo if your world revolves around gutter entertainment in the realm of afl non-entities. All he does is sell papers to morons like you... sigh

He seems very up himself. Meet the press thing they do on FC when he asked Neitz or Richo a question he disengaged and looked disinterested in the answer. He never listens to anyone else on the panel. Enjoys having a go at Carro for her articles but the second he is questioned he is offend and ets agro. Worst Football Journalist by a few dozen footy grounds for sure. No point listening to him. Pulls $hit out of his ar*e every week.

Not often I agree with a blues supporter, but I totally agree with your sentiments. He is a pompous rissole with NO morals. He thinks he knows it all. He couldn't answer the question from Neitz last night when he asked him where he got the info from about Don Argus coming to the Demons as CEO.. Don Argus has categorically denied any knowledge of it, and said that he had too many other things to concentrate on.. I am sure he just makes things up as he goes along.. An absolute W.ank.er

I think he is a good guy and does his job well. Makes shocking jokes though.
He's an oxygen thief and I don't watch TFS or Footy Classified.
