Player Watch Pick #16 (2016) - Todd Marshall

Todd Marshall is a flat track bully, can’t do this against a top 4 team. Only doing this against a depleted dogs outfit, wouldn’t get a kick if Bont was playing!

Flat track bullying is a good call for tonight. And it's great to see him out there doing that.

And he's being competitive against tougher opposition too.
yeah, its a great sign when someone can put a slightly below average opponent to the sword.
good on finlayson. i have given him some time and its paid off.

Definitely Todd's break out game. Hopefully he can tear the Roos apart next week.
hot toddie has already had 4-5 breakout games. this is an affirmation game for him.
affirmation he is a classy afl kpf.
affirmation that those who headhunted him are idiots.
affirmation that those who had belief in him were indeed right

As much as the people on here hate it, SPP and Boak up forward adds heaps to the forward defensive pressure. Cycling through Butters, Wines, SPP, Motlop, and Boak as the 2 small forwards still provides plenty of pressure when Georgiades gets around the ground like a small. The way georgiades is playing atm, I wouldn't even call him a KPF. He's playing as a mid sized forward and with improvement he could be more valuable in a Pavlich type role. 3+3 is a normal forward set up especially with, as you say, Marshall and Dixon as very mobile talls.
he is playing like fritsch but not finishing his work

His confidence has really lifted these past few games.
Getting closer to 50 games experience and starting to feel like he belongs at the level now.

I was a fan after seeing him star in a couple of SANFL games early on. Then the double tragedy with his parents could have broken him completely.

His form, confidence and appetite seemed to disintegrate and I believed that he was practically out the door this season.

Credit to him, he's made me eat my words recently. So pleased for him and what he had to go through.

Keep it going Todd

The way he almost single handedly took control of that third quarter and put us in control was Tredrea like. He's had some good games in his career, but we haven't yet seen him do that and really wrestle a game into our grasp, until now. Great to see.

He’s getting further away from 50 games every week. ;)
