Has been up and down a bit this season but finding form at the right time. Such a barometer for the side. If big Willy has a good game we're a strong chance of winning

Amazing this guy still gets so little love and recognition, even from his own supporters. Thought he was best on ground Friday and need him to have two more big games for us to have any chance. The amount of opposition attacking plays he breaks up are insane.

I don’t think anybody doubts Drew’s importance to us in the team.
Tight, hard game by Drew with some sublime kicking into the F50.
Best on for sure. And did the job on D’Ambrosio on the wing then matched Newcombe in the middle.

lol one of them was kicked as the ump blew his whistle. If that was the standard for giving away a fifty, we should have had several in our favour in the first half alone.

That diving lunge in the last quarter to spoil the ball between two Hawks players was immense.

That was due to it being a blatant free and a clear time wasting tactic, Drew knew exactly what he was doing and it was dumb. I do agree that the umpires are inconsistent in paying them and there were similar events in the first quarter.

All year players kick the ball after a whistle from the umps and they are given latitude because you never know which way the kick is going. Hawthorn got away with it on Friday night, But not us.
Like the variable interpretations of dangerous tackle, or when a player tries out a rugby lifting tackle off the ball in front of the umpire and he just shrugs his shoulders.

Drew better not have anymore brain fades. That last kick after the umpire blew his whistle was stupid since it was a stoppage inside 50. No excuses to do that.
