True. And he drafted him. But a lot of this loss was clearly mindset. Yes, Hinkley got outclassed by the length of the Flemington Straight. But those Port players are as weak as weak get.
You ****ing dropkick who's been in charge of these players for their whole career and who's job is it to mentally prepare them?

People kept telling me I have an agenda against this guy but I don't, I'm just calling it as it is. Soft player who goes missing in big games. Not a leader whatsoever.
I don't think much of him either.

Aside from JHF who is? And even if you do include him he's a third year player ffs he shouldn't these expectations on him.

Butters might have more bark to his bite but he hasn't shown a lot of his quality at the pointy end of the season either.

Literally Ken Hinkley

The amount of times he is running towards goal and in the clear yet still chooses to blindly boot the ball 50m is maddening. Has 0 composure and is always a candidate for holding the ball as he just submits as soon as someone gets a hand on him.

The bigger picture is how did we get to this point where we dont have any other genuine leaders on our list that could take captaincy right now other than 3rd year JHF. Rozee said earlier in the year he had no ****ing idea what he was doing and was going along with it all he “supposed” then his coach tells him to play with a bung hamstring and he cant even stand up for himself let alone the team and says yes daddy whatever you want.

Rozee is an excellent player who’s had a bad season - this talk that he’s the worst captain we’ve ever had is pretty over the top

Name me a worse Captain? There isn’t one, at least Dom regularly put his head over the ball.

With hindsight it's easy to dislike cassisi but at the time he was a decent captain, limited skillfully but always, always put in effort and done the one percenters. Knew his role wasn't to be the icing but to be the cake.

Unpopular opinion but as far as I remember Gavin was an underwhelming captain with few natural leadership qualities.

Actually, that's somewhat true, but please let's not use the holy name of The Gav in the same sentence as Casissy.

4 goals in a premiership (captain or not) buys a lot of leave passes.

He shirked a contest in I think the last part of the 1st quarter which was every bit as bad as anything Rachele has done.

when rozee had 36 and 3 goals in gather round our whole board was saying he is our best captain lol

As someone above said: Cannot capain someone who plays footy as a hooby

he is getting married, planning a weading, renovating his house and had a daughter this year. aswell as first year captain.

Footy is a hobby to him

Give the captaincy to someone else, problem is there are no worthy candidates.
