I reckon from a damage perspective he's played better games for the club. Games where he was given a bit of space and just nailed kick after kick inside 50 to win us the game.

That's the most accountable, best defensive game he's ever played though. He's finally become a genuine two way player.

Agree with everything said here. He has always had that effortless long kick as his only weapon, but developing it into such a pin-point, elite, field-kick, playing from defense, has been such a brilliant move. Then to improve so much in his contested game and defensive pressure. Awesome stuff!

Deserves to wear the prison bars #35 guernsey at training this week for that effort alone. But 12 contested possessions and 13 intercept possessions with a disposal efficiency of 88%, 10 score involvements and a goal ... my goodness that's an incredible performance.
