Love it how Collingwood only ever lose dead rubbers.
Looks like the first dead rubber Prelim coming up.
hehehe no matter what is said here, we can beat Collingwood on Friday.

Clearly having Gibson playing on nobody is part of the plan. Stratton, Shoenmakers and Murphy are needed to help free up Gibson. If Gibson is forced to play on a Cloke or Brown he will get outmuscled.
We should be fielding a much stronger team than the last time we played with Rioli, Stratton, Lewis & Sewell all missing that game.
I suspect the Pies will be too good but expect us to give a good account of ourselves.
Well in R15 you said Hawks would thrash Collingwood by 40 pts and Buddy would kick 8.
Actual Collingwood won by 41 pts, so you were double the amt out.
So I will take Collingwood by 13 pts...but really think by 26 pts.
So you will be wrong on all accounts yet again HAD.
Wanna put yr house on it like you did in R15 ???
Interesting Stat Number One : This is only the second ever final between Hawthorn and Collingwood. The last was in 1978, with the Hawks winning by 54 Points on the way to the flag.
Interesting Stat Number Two: Three Friday Night Games in a row makes for No Nookie in my household as a result. We better win the Flag...
We should be fielding a much stronger team than the last time with Beams, Didak, Johnson and Goldsack all fit and available this time around.
I expect a comfortable win.
If the Hawks play Gibson loose, then it allows Maxwell to do the same, and Collingwood are much better when this happens. The only way Collingwood lose is by playing a stinker or if Buddy kicks 11. I'm not as scared of Buddy now that we've got Ben Reid in the side though.
* West Coast played some very ordinary football last week and were in it right til the last few minutes against you.
* You got done by Geelong the week before by 96.
* Travis Cloke has been "average" for the best part of 2 months now.
* Ben Reid, the best match-up for Buddy, might not get up for the match.
* Several key players are going to come into the game with not much recent game time under their belt.
I think you have been the best team all year, but I believe there are several cracks that can be exposed by Hawthorn come next weekend.
Best of luck, should be a belter either way.
The good thing about this game is all the pressure and expectation is on Collingwood. Nobody expects Hawthorn to win. Collingwood have everything to lose and they know it.

I hate collingwood and there dole bludging bogan supporters and I would love nothing more than to win however I think it's probably a hill a little to high to climb.
Buddy kicks 7 and we win.
It is amazing how testy the pies supporters get when any opposition supporter has the the temerity to even suggest their team may beat the all-mighty all-conquering demigods that are the Collingwood Football team.....
Next time you're enjoying the view up on that multi-storey horse of yours, try brushing up on some spelling. If you're going to insinuate others are dole-bludging bogans, best to not come off looking like one yourself through mind-numbingly basic errors of the English language, which only serve to make you look part of the group you are trying, and and laughably failing, to criticise.
Being a Hawks supporter you probably went to at least two or three private schools, and while I know playing "soggy sayo" and taking hot crumpets from behind can take up a lot of your time, presumably somewhere amidst all of those tens of millions spent on your education you were told the difference between "they're", "there" and "their" and the difference between "to" and "too". I am only guessing this because my own child, aged eight, and educated thus far in a public school (which he has to walk to in knee deep snow each day), has grasped these concepts.
Oh, and some back-lines will be comfortable and win averagely.
You nailed him.
It's posts like Tige19, posters like HAD, presidents such as Jeff Kennett and just Hawthorn supporters in general makes me hate that club almost as much as Carlton and Essendon.
Just on the game, I can't wait for this prelim, am massively pumped!
Pies by 30 points.
