Defence was very solid. This game shouldn't have been this close but that's because we couldn't link our midfield to forward line.

Once the ball was turned over it slingshot the other way and we did enough down back aside from a couple of dodgy kicks by Keathy.

I agree Dale was involved more but both had ok games nothing more.

Dale was far better than I tipped but I tipped rubbish so not hard to beat that. Still think if JJ or Richards played they offer more run and punch.

Scott was mostly anonymous. Probably not enough contribution to keep his spot.
But he wasn’t a spud.

What did people think of Scotts game?

Actually thought Scott was ok. Looks composed and tough and fairly clean. I believe he has played as a mid forward in the VFL but did not look out of place at half back.
Genuinely surprised by the outpoint of Scott, Dale and Gardner. The coach obviously knows his playing group better than me.
McNeill was lively but West deserves a crack at that role very soon.

I’d find space for West and Wood. Probably McNeal and Scott but Scott extra stiff. He did alright without standing out, which is a win on debut.

Wallis has no place in a traditional tall forward set-up. Just don't see where he fits in to this particular side.

Wally is in trouble. He played as an undersized FF last few years.... but we don’t need that any more. Time to reinvent yourself a second time Wally and become a crumbing forward.

If Beveridge says Ugle-Hagan isn't ready, then I'm inclined to believe he actually is ready.

We made Roughead look like it was the 2016 Grand final.Let alone Moore owning it.
Obviously not working well with Bruce and Naughton.lets try Jamarra and Naughton
With English now forward it would be a better balance.
