Yep.The clutch mark he took on the wing with just a couple of minutes to go, was awesome
He is warming to it.
When he is taking those big linking marks you know the confidence is coming back!!

Doesn’t BT still host the Copeland and other big events during the year?BT is a tool. Rarely says something good about Collingwood. Maybe because we snub his stupid antics as Roaming Brian
I thought BT was the only one with his head screwed on. Berated the other commentators for liking a 40m kick 10m from the boundary as "just like the Grand Final" and calling the game with Collingwood only down by 16.But about the commentary on 7... is it just me, or has BT lost the plot?
I think even if Cox is too much of a target long I think it's not part of our gameplan when things are going right. He can get to contests that others can't so when a pressured kick into the forward line from the wing-flank goes forward he might get a finger to it and the stat for target inside 50 is shown as him being the intended target. When our ball movement is freer our targets are our smalls, De Goey, Stephenson are our 2 main full forwards. That doesn't mean he isn't an asset as the target of the old cliche "get out of jail" kick . However even "get out of jail" kicks have degrees of effectiveness, the long kick around the shoulder to no one in particular is bad. The long kick when ball movement is slow to Cox's spot where 2 guys have to go up at the contest to defend him directly is a good "get out of jail" kick, one of the best in the competition.
The issue with Cox against Hawthorn was:
1. The kicks to him were either open play kick in hope kicks or they were slow kicks from behind the halfway mark.
2. The small forwards did not position themself close enough to Cox to take advantage of the 2 on 1 conundrum he creates in the air. They were too wound up in becoming an option themselves because of the frustratingly stunted and haphazard ball movement from up the ground, leaving Cox to try and create a contest against 2 intercepting players alone when the kick isn't favouring him. By allowing #2, we allowed kicks described in #1 to become the norm, kicks that just drop in Hawthorns zone grid.
He got plenty from me. Stood up all night. Got three votes from me.Where's the Greenwood love. Give it up for the pig whoop whoooop.
Well played last night, wanted it far more than my mob, current rivalry between us is reminding me of our Sydney games back in 05 and 06.
Troll
I like WHE at half back. Give him a job. Too often as a forward he goes missing. His pace, skill and size can make him a weapon rebounding from D50.
Girls just love vegans.Mayne is punching so far above his weight it's hard to fathom!
Supporting Collingwood is one long roller coaster ride! This club does my head in.
Play crap against The Hawks and North then put on field what seems like our weakest side in ages.
Lose More early in the game, and of the 21 players left about 6 have very little to no impact.
Yet....
They beat the reigning premiers on their home turf.
This club does my head in.
The were quite a few players in that last quarter that just willed us over the line - just magnificentI need to watch it again Dave. DeGoey massive. But I thought Crisp’s pressure work around the ball prevented the inevitable Eagles slingshot goal or two that we have been conceding plenty of times on the past few weeks.

Pick 78!!How about Jordan Roughead? Earlier in the season he kept Buddy Franklin to 6 touches and last night kept Josh Kennedy to only 5 and no score. What a great pick up.
She’s just preparing you for marriage- that’s all it isHey, I love my girlfriend and she took me to the game last night because she’s an Eagles member. She’s still not talking to me this morning and I got the cold shoulder all night in bed. I just don’t care because I know what true love is. GO THE PIES.
I think I read somewhere that he is doing the coaching courseI think if you look for him doing on-field coaching, you will see more of it. He seems a great team man. When you watch the replay, see him leaving the ground next to Noble, just so the newbie wasn’t walking by himself. Top guy.
You seem to have a curious fetish with belly-button lint. Please explain.Would you like a belly button lint sculpture of a turtle to celebrate?
It may be more than just predicting a loss. Some of the calls on the gameday threads are ridiculous and give no insight into the state of play if you can't see the game. When those calls are used to predict a result, you start to get a feel for what JC is talking about. Sitting in the Ponsford stand years ago, we were surrounded by overly negative supporters who whipped the shit out of players, coaches etc. You'd scratch your head at how some plays were perceived. What, real supporters have to be stupid?
Nothing wrong with being realistic, and after the last two weeks, thinking we'll lose was fair enough.
Well said mate. That trio having their weeties this morning utterly devastated that Collingwood won and utterly devastated that our great club continues to make their stupid drunken ramblings embarrassing .Where are adz and travisss and thatsgold tonight?
