2nd option.

Birchall + Dangerfield
or
Ladson + Gray

Option 2 obviously looks better BUT Birchall would likely be a backline keeper with an avg of 75-85 whereas Gray may not be a forward line keeper. Danger/Ladson will need and upgrade.
Shuey/Franklin or Hill

OR

Trengrove/Ziebell

noob question

cotchin or swift?
or any suggestions otherwise?

much appreciated

cotchin or swift?

Both have showed signs of racking up big numbers.

Cotchin is not in a strong midfield / team so will always get plenty of TOG and as he has general footy smarts, guarenteed to at least get you say 60pts every week. If they improve greatly, so will Cotchin most probably. Can't see the Tigers doing much this year though.

Swift is a risky pick for mine, is not real cheap so you would want him to play most / all games and get a spot in the centre. With players like Kerr, Shuey, etc stepping into the midfield a little more than late last year; ball may be limited. Can rack 'em up quickly, keep an eye out.

or any suggestions otherwise?

Two nice players with solid futures, stick with your gut.

much appreciated

No problems at all.

Goodes and Dangerfield!!! Goodes > Brennan

Gray or Rioli or Medhurst

Gray. Will be moving into the midfield and racking up more possies. Medhurst I reakon will stay in the forward pocket. Will kick around three goals a game but I don't see him getting too many possies. Rioli is more of a sc player imo. He uses the ball well but he doesn't get much of the ball. Running around players and kicking amazing goals don't get you extra points.

Okay, Can someone help me with this:

Bartell + Swan + Armatige/Masten (Allready have Ablett too)

or

Mitchell + J.Selwood + Kornes/S.Thompson (Have Ablett too)

?????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Don't like either option to be honest. I would hate to see how cheap you have gone in the rest of your team if you are looking at choosing Ablett, Swan AND Bartel in the mids

Shuey or Barlow?

Greenwood or Suban?

Bate or Gray?

1. toss of the coin. Shuey is more cemented in the 22 but Barlow dominated in the VFL last year and could play 22 if he's in form. Could be the Liam Anthony of this year

2. Watch the nab cup then decide

3. Gray

You could of at least chosen one. Anyway don't worry about the rest of the team. I have 14 keepers atm. Ablett, Mitchell, Kornes, Selwood, Reiwoldt, Pavlich, Franklin, Didak, Hodge, S.Fisher, Goddard, Enright, Sandilands and Hille.

Option 1 if you ask me.

Ok its come down to this,

Bartel and Higgins

Or

Selwood and J Brown?

Option #2

Shuey or Barlow?

Greenwood or Suban?

Bate or Gray?

Shuey, Greenwood, Gray, no competition.

Barlow will have a few good games, but teams will work him out quickly, is a one trick pony, Suban Slightly closer but Greenwood is about to monster the competition, will be the new Brett Kirk of the AFL, Bate not this year, maybe in 3 when the Melbourne Youngun's are larger and are dominating the comp.

Id question the Hille call - sure he has averaged up there before, however his durability has previously made his position as a keeper questionable, even when he has been scoring ok.

Coming back from injury, likely to be eased in, with increased competition in the ruck with Ryder doing so well last year I wouldnt be counting on Hille making it up there.

Much like higgins last year - sure it is possible, but Id only pencil in half his name if that. Wait and see.

H Shaw v Carrazzo v S Fisher
I see Carrazo suffering this year and Fisher is generally a slow starter to the year so look for him as a good downgrade target when his scores start to pick up around Rnd 7-11 and then he will become a keeper. Shaw also can get you those 120+ games as well but he's a bit of risk as he can have low ones but I have in my team as well up to you.

Hahahahahaha this is humour. Most of you people on here have no idea and just go with the NAB Cup. I was going through one of the previous threads and people who scored more then 2000+ or even 1900+, man your hooked on the NAB Cup. Let me safley say I only got around 1400 (didn't add up.. not that sad, I could have heaps less or more) but I copped a few 0's. I see now every team has Enright, Shaw, Barlow, Martin, (nearly) Nic Nat, Rohan, Mitchell? etc.
I could of missed a few main ones but top dreamteamers don't do this tactic. I have a settled team and love it. I have a premium over 400+ that only scored 50 - not jumping off him. Looks like it's become a new craze that one bad/(good) game they jump off/(on) a certain player.

Enright - was popular, but now every team has him. I can't really complain as he is consistant.
Shaw - god, I'm sure 1 in every 20 teams had this guy last time I checked, now all I see is Shaw, Shaw, Shaw, Shaw. Congrats if you don't have him. Don't mind me but yes I do have him, but he settled in my team way before the NAB Cup for severial reasons.
Barlow - let me say, that one of the most greatest things of football is watching the rise of young kids, so I watch them. I have done my research and know whos in my team when it comes to young players. I had Barlow in my first scratch team as I know him (not personally haha, but as a player), seen him, and know what he is capiable of. I knew the risk also.. it's Barlow but no-one will get that except me ;). I have jumped off him and got an even better player who no-body has. yay!
Martin - good on everyone who doesn't have him. PAT ON THE BACK! Martin again another player I have but he was my favourite and I desperatly wanted him at the Crows (knew it wouldn't happen in a million years). Martin is a ball magnet but just be caution that his role position can change because he isn't what you call a damaging player just yet. Just because you get 20 odd touches a match, you still could be the dud of the AFL.
Nic Nat - are you kidding me? alright.. lemme join the craze! EVERYONE JUMP ON NIC NAT WHO GOT NEARLY 100% GAMETIME AND BEING THE ONLY PLAYER IN THE RUCK (MINUS COX THERE NUMBER 1 RUCKMAN)!!!!!!!!
Rohan - will not play many games and will get you the odd 60 on rare ocassions.
Mitchell - what the? I have no doubt no-one had him in their team till now.

"I loved this band. But now that everyone else does, I'm having a whinge"

Seriously though, sure some people had certain smokeys in their team prior to round one of the NAB, like yourself. Congrats.

There is seriously no need for this post.
To sum it up:

"I had all these players way before you so...so...so...I'm better... PLUS I've got someone better anyway *huff*"

Just relax, worry about your own team, for people who follow the trends are going to have all these players out of their team after round 2 when they only notch up a 60. Bitta calm is in order.
