hey guys would you go for
Mitchell/Selwood/Pendles

or go a cheaper midfield option

Cooney vs Watson vs Pavlich

and also

ROK vs Stevie J vs Gia [need 2 from these 3]

It's almost impossible to pick from the 3 Gun mids but i woulod choose one of them over the cheaper options because quite frankly in these types of player you get what you pay for...

If i had to pick one it would be Selwood because he offers the most upside. Mitchell and Pendles are still awsome DT'ers though and honestly it's hard to go wrong.

As for the forwards ROK and Gia all the way:thumbsu:

these have been doing my head in, would love some feedback...

dangerfield vs. warren vs. ballantyne (7th forward)

hall vs. medhurst (6th forward)

thankyou:)

hall

risk - suspension
reward - excellent delivery from doggies forwards, the focal point of attack

would still go hall over medhurst although medhurst is the 'safer' option.

---------------------------------------------------------------

the 7th foward question is the biggest decision in my squad IMO.

Whos to say dangerfield will actually get more midfield time? i mean whos actually going to vacate him that spot. his nab scores seem to suggest the same.

Warren, dont really like young lead up fowards, especially at weak clubs

Ballantyne, has got to score goals to get 50+ and given freo might struggle its a very tough question

i WISH harvey played ballantyne last game of the nab to see if he could keep up scores.

I would go Ballantyne

Now for a final decision for my team

Franklin and Gia
or
ROK and Gray
Both are pretty tasty. I'd be happy with either really.

Swan and Harbrow

or 450K mid (still undecided on which exact one, most likely Stanton, Selwood or Mitchell) and Gram

Gram + Watson + Gray or Bock + Gibbs + BBB Barry

At the moment Im leaning towards the first option because I think Watson has the ability to increase his avg to 100

First option dude!

Swan is a DT God, and Harbrow has heaps of upside, should score well!

Now here is my current situation.

*Pendles/Mitchell/J.Selwood (which one?) + J.Brown vs Ball + Volt + 44k

*Dangerfield v Ballantyne

*Hunt v Waters v Ladson v Kenelly (pick 2)

If Swan can maintain his average, him and Harbrow would be the go IMO

Here's mine:

Warren and Shuey

vs

Ballantyne and Bastinac

1 week to go!

I think i'd go with Ball and Volt. Saying that, there's obviously lots of value in the 3 mids you named.

I like Danger, but am tossing up between Ballantyne and Warren?

Hunt for me. Waters has potential but may not be in the mix for Rd 1 according to the WCE board posters. Kennelly showed he's still got the ability to score points in the last NAB challenge match too?

Warren and Shuey

vs

Ballantyne and Bastinac

Hmmm, i think the 2nd option is better, but it is hard to tell. It would be more clear if Ballantyne played the last 2 games of the NAB cup challange, but he got injured. So its hard to judge if those first 2 games were flukes or not. However, i prefer him over Warren.

Bastinac and Shuey is pretty much 50/50, although i see Shuey getting more games, so he looks like the better option.

Shuey/Bastinac both have chances of getting games. But Shuey is likely to come in earlier. Bastinac might have to wait till North copys injuries.

ok this is to finish off my side
Pavlich
Duffield
Ladson
rocKliff (bench)

or

Franklin
Shaw
Carazzo
Pods (bench)

So close to finalising my team, one last consideration:

Montegna and Goodes

v

Swan/Ablett and J Brown

Thoughts?

Bring on lockout!

dewey, could you squeeze swan/ablett and ROK instead, I think that would be a safer option.

Goodwin and rookie on bench with Maguire or

Harbrow and Waters on bench with Maguire

I already have ROK

So it's either

Monty and Goodes

v

Swan/ablett and J Brown

people's thoughts?

There's not much in the way of backmen rookies this year so waters would be the safest bet. Not sure about harbrow though. I reckon there are better backmen in the same price range

my turn
bartel vs montagna

Bartel is pretty much guarranteed to get me 100 points week in week out and he frees up a bot of cash to spend elsewhere but montagna on the other hand can produce some bloody big scores. What do u guys think

Tough call then, big fan of Swan but I have left out both Goodes and Brown as they are notoriously slow starters, despite good pre-seasons.

I would go Swan and Brown, I think that combo will score 10 points more each week on average

If you're planning on ending up with both then get the most consistent one now, in your mind (and mine) Bartel, as inconsistency usually offers better trade-up opportunity(ies) throughout the seaon. So, get bartel and wait for Montagna to drop after a (relatively) bad game.

My turn:
O'Keefe & Le Cras vs. O'Keefe & Murphy vs. Higgins & Harvey ?

Worried about Murphy & Higgins being injury-prone, and Harvey getting on a bit in years, however I'm not totally sold on Le Cras' ability to push into midfield and get better scores...

I would go with the 2nd one, ROK and Murphy!

I feel that combo would be the safest and has abit more upside than the other combo's.

Now i got a problem:

J.Brown + Gray vs Volt + B.Hall??

volt + hall not keen on gray just yet

heres mine

trengrove + o keefe + kennelly (3 starting rookie mid)

watson + mayne + hunt (2 starting rookie mid)
