Well, how many points do you think Mumford will make away from ruck contests? Will he make conisistant points during normal play? I'd take White, but I'm not entirely sure.

My Question:

Ziebell or Murphy? (probably been asked before, but I'm scratching my head now)

Murphy is injury prone but can score very high at his best, Murphy is probley the stronger pick, But Ziebell may be more reliable

I would go for Ziebell but others may disagree

Daniel Rich or Brock Mclean?

That's a tough one. For mine, I can't see Rich improving much more, I'm sure he'll be consistent but dunno if he can up his avge any. (Probably be eating my words in 8 weeks but...)

Mclean on the other hand could really flourish at Carlton and, as others have said, should be free to run untagged.

Cheers guys, i've got one last one and thats:

Brent Prismall or Ryan Griffen

I like Brent Prismall(Little Biased but iam a big fan of griffen) Prismall is a huge player for the bombers like what he does with the ball will play every week and always gets the ball I think top 3 of essendon players in the second half of the season so hes coming of good form

Ryan Griffen can be inconsistant but when hes on hes very firey
I would go prismall but consider Jared Brennen from the lions for a bit more you get a tall mobile goal kicking midfielder and hes very hard to tag

what players to pick into supercoach backline i got 2.7mil left ?

Would be looking at Hodge first...can't go wrong at his price

Mitch Clark or Darren Jolly?

Both had great years last year. Jolly is at a new club and will want to prove himself. Clark is a young gun on the rise..

Saw someone else quote Mitch Clarks stats from the Prospectus on the Lions board, and if you can afford him, he appears to be great value.

Wondering whether people think I might be going a tad light on in the Rucks. I like to pick 2 keepers, have Ruck 3 as a backup from the same club as either Ruck 1 or Ruck 2, then spend very little on Ruck 4. Have so far settled on Kruezer in R1, with Warnock as R 3 and Lobbe as R 4. Have only $329 k for R2 – Hille has big potential but is a risk. For 22 game durability, could picked up White, Blake, Hudson or Nicnat. Are all of those options a bit light on though??

Guys, I know I am bending the rules of the thread a little with extra players but I'm a little stuck...

A Didak and J Ziebel

or

L Davis and L Thomas

A Didak and J Ziebel

or

L Davis and L Thomas

definitely the first option. thomas is not going to even get close to ziebell scores and will even struggle for a game. no one should even consider L. thomas in there teams

my question is

petrie + t.walker
or
hille + r.murhpy

and also best midfielder beside ablett or selwood. any price. opinions?

To be honest I don't think Walker will improve much or average a heap more points or a heap more game time than last year. Having said that Hille Murphy seems the lesser of two evils, something just doesn't sit with either combo you have, sorry to be of no help what so ever.

There is Ablett, then there is the rest and you could perhaps toss a coin out of Montagna or Swan to pick the next best this year.

My delima is J Selwood + A Goodes or Swan + Pavlich. Someone blatently tell me I'm an idiot and point me in the right direction.

you're an idiot. Selwood and Goodes for sure.

Selwood is an absolute freak. And can only improve.. Smokey for the brownlow this year i reckon. Gets so much hard ball and free kicks which is SC gold.

And Goodes is Goodes. Always somehow manages to get huge scores... though have you considered ROK instead of goodes? Should play more in the midfield and so may be a little more consistent than goodes.. But both gun premiums and should average over 110.

Selwood & Bastinac

or

Cooney & Cunnington??

Thoughts guys?

Selwood and Bastinac. Selwood will get consistently bigger scores than Cooney and Bastinac is having a great pre-season apparently. Also, Cunnington may have an issue with his foot.

Cooney and cunnington.

mitch brown or Ladson or rance?

Probably Ladson, if he plays NAB and looks good/fit. Don't know much about Brown. Rance is looking really fit and should improve, I'm considering him at the moment too.

Sorry didn't really help:(

skip both and look at Taylor Walker (adl) $239,400 may be his breakout year.

Off Topic, sorry:

Just wondering, has anybody had a look at him yet this year? I heard he put on 10kgs and find it hard to believe?! Anybody know how he's moving? I like him and agree with the above but 10kgs, Jeebus!

probably been asked already in this thread buttttt....

Malceski vs Ladson vs Hunt

Has been asked, people seem to be leaning towards Hunt for reliability/likelyhood of playing most games. Having said that, one of the other two could be a surprise packet! You'd probably pick Ladson for consistency if he's fit, but if Mal gets back to his best and plays every week, he'll be one of the best pick ups of the year. Dunno how likely that would be though.

Hentschel vs T Walker
