Hurn Vs Macdonald?

How much are they???

If price is not a consideration, Hurn. He'll play every game and still looks to have that "run off the backline" role. He scores very heavily because his disposal is so good and kicks long nearly all the time.

Macdonald is a good player capable of scoring well but I don't think him going to the worst team in the comp is going to help him score. Besides, isn't Grimes playing that running back role?

Bit of a different one. Jobe Watson or someone else? I like the prospect of Watson as I can't see him dropping off, and he's already getting great scores while copping the no.1 tag. But who else in the same range is worth looking at?

i'll try again.

Don’t know if this one has been done..

BARRY HALL vs MARK WILLIAMS

Two different players.. both with a lot of capability to increase in $$$.
Hall being the main man – tall/tough forward
And Williams coming out of the shadow of Fraklin/Roughead now that he is at the Dons..

Hall. He's probably a bigger risk but he's capable of getting big scores.

Apologies if this one has been done.

Ziebell vs. Medhurst is a crucial decision for me. I'm thinking Medhurst based on experience. I can see Ziebell scoring some decent scores but they will be mixed with some low ones as well...he's only played a handful of games. Medhurst also has the potential for shockers...but I reckon he'll be a big target on the forward line with Didak getting tagged a little more...and has more potential for big 100's than Ziebell.

Thoughts?.

I'd go Kennedy. Looking good so far this year and will be the main main for the WCE.

to directly answer your question.. I currently have HALL

..but to broaden it a bit, help me pick 3 of the following:
KENNEDY v HALL v DANGERFIELD v ZIEBELL v WILLIAMS

I currently have:
HALL, DANGERFIELD, ZIEBELL

(KENNEDY has me thinking…)

I think he'll go OK too. But still, I think there are midfield players out there that are undervalued in comparison. At $545k he's a keeper and probably worth every cent and will score like it. For mine, he's an upgrade target at best and I'd prefer Cooney as he's cheaper ($495k). If they were the same price I'd probably still lean to Cooney anyway but then again, I wouldn't be considering him undervalued at that price.

They're all good players with lots of upside this year. I have Ziebell and Dangerfield myself but with Ziebell in the midfield as my 5th mid. These two both offer the flexibility of playing mid or fwd which may come in handy. Other than that, it's pretty hard to split them and it's just gut feel I reckon. You could throw Medhurst and Varcoe onto that list above as well.

Ziebel or Masten?

Being an Eagles supporter, it's going to be Masten's break out year IMO. Ziebel has the potential also to have a great year and can be used in the front or middle...

Ziebell or R Murphy?

you tell us, how is murphy tracking? saw he didnt do alot in the last hitout, any reasons why? if he is fit and firing he will be a great pick. but i kind of prefer him in dreamteam for the big numbers

He is going really well, feeling his best again after his knee op, I have him but now a few people are talking up Ziebell, it is almost a non issue now though as I will probably select both after finding out C Knights is out for 6 weeks or so.

Sam Fisher or Paul Duffield????

Fisher for mine..Alot of people have gone off Fisher this year.. Unless Duffield can back it up during NAB cup..

Got a few here..

Capitals are who I have in

SHAW vs Newman
COONEY vs Burgoyne
DAL SANTO vs Pendlebury
MITCHELL vs Gibbs
PAVLICH vs LeCras

sorry about the long list! haven't been able to get on here for a while..

errr

neither

ballantyne has won a sandover and kicked 75 from a pocket in the wafl. did you see his attack on the ball nab round 1, impressive. and yarran will break out this year imo. i have watched plenty of him at swans and he is well and truly capable of kicking bags.

re: waters - i went to the intraclub last saturday and he is looking very fit and in good touch. was 2nd BOG and that was his first hitout. the thought of many is that he may start as a defensive half forward and then later move to a back flank/back pocket. the sweeper role in defence well and truly belongs to hurny. beau is most definately best 22 however and is going cheap. but it might even be worth taking shep also as he also looks set for early game time

Chris Masten or Andrew Walker?

Masten, but purely because he seems to be over his injuries more. Walker could be a great cash cow though if he stays on the park.

Goodes vs Riewoldt vs Davis

I've got Goodes in at the moment but am toying with swapping him out for one of the other top forwards.
