I'd say Ablett... thats what i'm to be doing anyway.

Downgrade target

Lynch (GCS) or May (GCS)

Really just looking for JS, what are peoples thoughts, does May have it?

interested in hearing your reasons..
Not saying they are wrong, but considering bringing him in also.

My concerns are:

Soft Tissue injuries will cause him to sit out games late in the season, since they will have nothing to play for.

Always going to cop the number 1 tag

Large losses are giving him less chance to score well.

Has only scored 2 decent scores in 6 games of 141 and 198 that have bumped his average up to 118.

I'm looking at Boyd Vs Ablett

Boyd scored under 100 first game and hasn't been under since.

And the pro for ablett is, well he is Gary Ablett..

I agree that Ablett will be rested/slight injured sometime in the 2nd half of year so Boyd.

My dilemma is who to upgrade Krak in mids to
Montagna or Hodge? Pro's con's as will score similar?

Or to open MPP is Fyfe the man?

They're some fair points you make... my reasoning is that Ablett is Ablett. Plus the fact that there are no more GCS byes (although he may be rested)

Have Boyd, Bartel, Murphy and Pendles, so now not sure where else i should look... maybe joey montagna or judd i guess...

Damn, was hoping you were going to convince me to get Ablett.. haha!

I have been looking at Montagna also, so cheap and has averaged 125 and 116 the last two seasons, and can churn out those big scores for you. It's all about Fallen premiums, and for Montagna its been a mixture of poor form and st kilda playing woeful football, i highly doubt st kilda will continue this form throughout the season, so as St Kilda improves, as will Montagna's scores.. Confidence is a big thing in footy, and once its back it changes teams..

haha. well you've pretty well convinced me otherwise... i'm also now tempted to go for pav, which will help with MPP that i have been crying out for for a long time... could be some coins flipped this afternoon!

i'm nearly sold on montagna now!

any assistance on my downgrade options?
Im getting rid of Krakouer (after he's been so good to me) and will get either Lynch or May from the GC... all comes down to JS i think, cause they wont be getting a lot of game time (hopefully)and i'm just not sure on the JS of May

if u dont have mzungu i'd choose him over both the gc boys

on top of that his 3 game average is 112.

In my opinion should only improve from here, can't see Joey going backwards..

Goddard and Riewoldt both lifted too.. which was also encouraging, as they tend to all play well at the same time..

Thoughts on May vs Lynch? Haven't seen anything of either of them, Lynch obviously looks like making the biggest price jump, but May probably has the more AFL-ready body and is nearly 30k cheaper...I like the fact that May is named in the backline as well.

Saints are also playing a depleted Dockers side which should be worth a few extra points.

My thoughts are over who to have as MID emergency, normally not a huge worry but with Swan being doubtful I'm left with the choice of Didak or Wallis. Didak actually looked better playing as the sub last week (he was named in the starting 22 same as this week).

Wallis is also named in the 22 however he seems to have been given a close tagging role in his last couple of games which has impacted his score.

So both have their downsides, anyone able to give me an upside to offset them?

didak by a mile and if u can find a way to get him on the field u should, swan will play forward if he plays and didak more time on the wing = lots of possessions

My question is who to start up forward between K.Tippett and Petrie.

Am leaning towards Tippett playing Brisbane at home. Petrie has one good score followed by a 50/60 and he had his good one last week.

Any thoughts??

Think about the Swans backline.

What about NDS instead of Montagna?:)

Averaging 5 points more and $23k cheaper?

Anyone still think about chapman?? So cheap at $437k, but only managed 65 against goldcoast:confused:

Scott Thompson vs Scott Pendlebury? I've already got Swan. Thinking Pendlebury because Collingwood will win more games so will be consistent. Thompson is unique but not so sure about Adelaide.

Id probably go Pendlebury. Safer bet as Collingwood win most of the time.
I will be getting Pendlebury but wondering whether its best to wait till after Collingwoods 2nd bye..Which leads me to my question..

Next Midfield Upgrade Target

Ablett(533,200) vs Matthew Priddis (511,800) vs Pendlebury(523,000)

Would most likely pick Pendlebury if I didnt already have Shaw and Swan and Ablett has no byes left so makes this a hard choice.

Thompson has only put a foot wrong in the thumping against Melbourne. Other than that his scores have been impressive. Also there isn't many players capable of stealing his points which is reflecting in his scores.

I'm also pondering Thompson vs Ablett. Thompson being 30k cheaper may help with an upgrade in another position.

Krak or Darling? One will be upgraded, the other will probably have to be kept until the end.

I have the exact same question, except I'll be downgrading one of them.

Darling is a young player, so you think he might get rested eventually, or tire out, but he's been relatively consistent this season.

Krak however has the mature body, but if his form drops a bit, he'll be out of the side again, or relegated to sub. I'm also trading one of these guys to Mzungu, so the DPP doesn't matter as much (with Fyfe, Chappy, Goodes in the forward line also).

I might keep Darling because I think he has more JS, and whoever I chose to keep will be my F8 anyway.

Swan/Hodge/Thompson for the last spot in my midfield?

Current midfield:
Pendlebury, Mundy, Judd, Selwood, D. Swallow, Harris.

Will keep Swallow as emergency and upgrade Harris to Boyd eventually.
