I don't think you can compare Cotch and Murph. One is pushing a top 5 mid in the competition. The other is barely making journos top 50 players in the comp atm. Yes my 118 is opinion based, but the chances of that occurring is far higher than Murph reaching 105.

Cotch as top 5 mid grabbed my attention

GAJ
Swan
Pendles
Jelwood
Griffen
Watson
Stevie J
Dayne Beams
Dangerfield
Rockliff

I'd have all these guys before Cotch in terms of SC scoring ability for a number of reasons.

In saying that i do think Cotch is an attractive price for those who want to gamble on someone in that price range

Cotchin for me is on par or slightly better I think with all of the above in bold. Again just my opinion. You could throw a blanket over all of them. I personally have Cotch and am very confident this year.

Thx for the replies fellas.

I had McVeigh/Simpson penciled in but I'm happy with Sammy+10k.

To add to this equation:

Mitchell, Simpson, Watson

vs

Mitchell, Grimes, Pendlebury

Based on factual evidence and analysis :)
The factual evidence is right in front of your face actually. As soon as Judd started to deteriorate so did Murphy's scores. No one has stepped us since last season to demand the number 1 tag, so again Murphy will cop it. Hence his scores will stay low!

Oh not this mythology again. Murphy assumed the number one tags 3 years ago already, he was injured last year, he had no pre-season, he played through injury all season and copped a broken jaw to go along with his other problems. He is fit for the first time in a year properly now.

You will find that many players play through 'Injury' every year. If it is not bad enough to sideline him you should not be using that as an excuse. An example is Swan who played through all last season with a wrist injury. He wasn't a dud like Murphy however.

Ha,

Only put in mid-pricers you are confident in and you have done your own research on,

Otherwise, go a premo or a rookie and use $$ elsewhere,
