I don't really see the point of a family day if you loose a grand final. It doesn't surprise me the players didn't want to be there, I know I wouldn't if I was in their position.
Maybe in the future it should only be scheduled for if we win, like the case if the grand final parade down the streets of Geelong. It be interesting to see if they come back to training as hungry as ever like North Melbourne in 1999 and Essendon in 2000 or they come back not caring.

Not a big deal in my opinion..i didnt go and i live just down the road i dont think that reflects on me as a supporter at all i just new it would be a dour and depressing day. The players are obviously feeling pretty dirty and i couldnt care less if they have beers in there hand let them have a drink and drown there sorrows. Just my opinion but probably to quick to jump on there back over something like this. I dont know how people expected them to react..
