Leroy Brown will be a real wildcard watch out for some big hits from browny.

In addition Tom Hawkins needs closer attention hes been in exceptional form by his standards of late with 11 goals in 3 games.

Collingwood: Krakouer, Pendles
Geelong: Chapman, Scarlett
Hawthorn: Rioli, Buddy
West Coast: Kerr, "the Craw"..
Carlton: Judd, Betts
St Kilda: Milne, Goddard
Sydney: Goodes, Mumford
Essendon: Watson, Zaharakis

Those I will be watching because they usually stand up in finals:

Collingwood: Pendlebury, Thomas
Geelong: Chapman, Scarlett
Hawthorn: Franklin, Hodge
West Coast: Cox, Embley
Carlton: Judd
St Kilda: Goddard, Armitage (I think he's made for them)
Sydney: Goodes, Mumford
Essendon: Watson

Then there are a few to watch because, rightly or wrongly, they have been criticised for past finals and will have a point to prove - Cloke, Davis, Milne, Riewoldt, Betts etc.

Can't wait!

  • Luke Hodge - hasn't had his best season, but just about to hit top gear
  • Luke Bruest - will slip under the radar of Buddy conscious defenders and kick a bag of goals

Oh really?

And here I was thinking Collingwood was fairly happy with the way Shuey played today...

Seriously though, had a bit of a shocker today. We all know that he can play way above what he showed today, and he'll be really disappointed. But he's a great kid, and I'll back him to pick himself up and play to his best next week.

I did notice that before he kicked to Darling in the 4th quarter, he had a few looks behind him to see if anyone was there. He's learning :D
