Plymouth v Yeovil

There was an injury at 0-0 in the league cup game last night, the Yeovil player bombed it to the keeper in the time honoured fashion but manage to beat the keeper and put it into the net.

Embarassed by this the Yeovil players consulted the bench, and let the Plymouth player walk it through for the equaliser straight away.

Yeovil ended up winning anyway, but showed great sportsmanship when it could have cost them greatly.

Yeh heard about that, apparantly the keeper wasn't paying attention? but good to see sportsmanship exists in the game, hope it passes over to the fans someday :(

Now if only Arsenal had done that a few years back...

Kanu's first game for the club, bless 'im. Claimed he wasn't aware of the protocol although I'm not sure what Overmars' excuse was. At least Wenger had the decency to offer a replay I guess.
