Its interesting because I remember reading discourse around 2017ish when there were still a lot of Repubs who were unimpressed with Trump and a lot of people thought Trump would lose in 2020 because Trump would stand alone, the Repubs would go back to their "type" of candidates, and Dems would do Dems things.

In the end the opposite happened and the Republican Party should be renamed the MAGA party because thats all it is now. People who were Republicans until 2016 are now being referred to as RINOs.

I can picture a complete fiasco with Trump off playing golf and people scared to make any decisions about anything, because whenever they do make a decision and then Trump drops in from playing golf and can't see the benefit to his bank account or his ego, he fires them.
