What the **** are the players trained to play like? There's no running handballs. No corridor football. We went from that to a bunch of junior football shit of hospital handballs, missed kicks and backwards passing.

JLO shit himself and had no idea how to switch the plan. He has one speed, quick forward play, and it's been exposed over the last 2 months as the players have butchered the execution yet he stuck with it.

People may shit in Ross Lyon but he's the only experienced coach we had brought in, and funnily the only unbeaten season and Grand final we ever made. Maybe JLO isn't for us. Not enough mongrel to really get the guys going. He doesn't even show emotion in the coach box, he looks angry then he is straight to his laptop to type away his issues.

I for one wouldn't lose sleep if he was told it's a grand final next season or your fired.

Clarkson etc. would make our team an absolute powerhouse.

I actually saw what he was typing:

“Dear diary, today I am very upset. The club I coach is losing. But the boys are trying really hard and I’m proud of them so I think I’ll still surprise them with pizza afterwards”

Switta is overrated on here.

He is probably more of a midfielder then a small forward tbh.

Small forwards bring the same pressure he does but also kick goals.

He's 27, he's not getting any better. Don't want him taking shots in an actual final. Not losing any sleep if he asks for a trade.

Serong can practice goal kicking all summer too.

walker and draper both had some really good moments and some poorer runs, probably showed better of themselves then some of the more experienced players in the backline

add treacy, bolton, pearce at least to this team and we win surely

Sometimes when a team kicks lots of points its because they are getting lots of shots on goals from hard angles but I reckon that most of ours were relatively "easy" shots, just players shitting the bed.

Giving port 2-3 free kicks from the top of the square for being undisciplined also doesn't help.

For sure. We’ve gone to water at every significant moment of the season and the last month was a failure.
