The deliberate out of bounds is as bad as HTB.

If it were up to me i'd pay a deliberate out of bounds even if a player picks it up and runs it over. You absolutely know when a player deliberately put it over the boundary line, every single time. Pay them all, no matter how innocuous, and then players will really try and keep it in play.

The fact that the umpires continue to get AFL games to umpire after appearing to be completely incompetent at their job indicates to me that it is a directive from the AFL.
