Sounds like a fun event, would have paid money to see it.Most of that is a bit shit, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to see Cooper Hamilton dressed as a plane crashing into someone dressed as a tower.

If AO ever does need more capacity, anyone suggesting getting rid of the trees etc. at the Northern end, so it can join the ranks of soulless stadiums worldwide should be shot.Whatever people think of AFLW I gotta say I love seeing all the old upgraded suburban grounds on the tele, the big uniform soulless bowls in the mens game are tiresome.

It’s just the way it is, bigger grounds more people more money. The new Perth Optus stadium and MCG are two of the worst, soulless stadiums going around.
Of course victorians would call me insane but the only thing it has going for is its size.
It otherwise has no character and Optus is even worse it’s just a massive donut looking thing
'Character' in a stadium is good for when there is nothing happening at the stadium. The new Perth Optus stadium and MCG are two of the worst, soulless stadiums going around.

Which makes it important in cricket lol'Character' in a stadium is good for when there is nothing happening at the stadium.
But honestly, who is at a game of footy or cricket for the 'character' of the stadium?
Big reason why i like gather roundWhatever people think of AFLW I gotta say I love seeing all the old upgraded suburban grounds on the tele, the big uniform soulless bowls in the mens game are tiresome.
Could we imagine what is said behind closed doors at a Zionist meeting? Or Palestinian meeting or Ukrainian!!!This is not a comment on whether the behaviour of the GWS players was right or wrong or in between but snitches like this do what they do purely for their own ego and sense of self importance, the motivation is the opposite of pure.
Its not about caring who is offended.I often wonder if people offended by these sort of things have ever been exposed to stand-up comedy cripes even 9/11 has been a punchline for umpteen years.

I very much doubt it will make a difference. Rules changes and protecting the head especially in training camp would have a great effect. It's like people who wear a helmet skiing.. it's literally pointless but now it's the majority. You hit your head on the tree with or with the helmet, if it is a deadly incident, it's going to kill you either way unless we make all the helmets roughly 20cm thick all the way around like a helmet prop out a bad 80s sci fi movie.Interesting development in the argument for protective headwear and concussion. Perhaps the long established argument that they make no difference is less clear. "NFL executive vice president Jeff Miller said that Guardian Caps have contributed to a nearly 50% reduction in concussions for the position groups that wore them during those time periods."

NFL to allow Guardian Caps during regular season
The NFL will allow players the option of using Guardian Caps in regular-season games to help protect against head injuries, the league confirmed Friday.www.espn.com
Death isn't the only outcome/reason for wearing a helmet.I very much doubt it will make a difference. Rules changes and protecting the head especially in training camp would have a great effect. Ok but same point, you're going to get a concussion with or without it.Death isn't the only outcome/reason for wearing a helmet.
Yes, but again, there are a lot of other injuries it prevents. Particularly breaks and cuts.Ok but same point, you're going to get a concussion with or without it.
My favourite ground to watch highlights from is played by the Under 18s in Melbourne.Whatever people think of AFLW I gotta say I love seeing all the old upgraded suburban grounds on the tele, the big uniform soulless bowls in the mens game are tiresome.
Williamstown Oval has the bay plus the Melbourne skyline as its background. Very niceMy favourite ground to watch highlights from is played by the Under 18s in Melbourne.
I don't know the name of it but it has the ocean in the background. I just love it.
